摘要: A passivation film including a nitride-reformed layer that excludes chromium nitride (CrN) is formed on a surface of an austenitic stainless steel. The passivation film composed of chromium oxide functions as protection film against lead-free solder. As a result, the surface of stainless steel is hard to be corroded even when it contacts with the lead-free solder in its melted solder, thereby improving its corrosion resistance and its wear resistance substantially. In a case of SUS316 stainless steel, on an outermost surface of which the passivation film is formed, a period of lapsed time until corrosion of the stainless steel starts extends to about 500 hours as line Le shown in FIG. 4, and its corrosion depth indicates shallower one (20 through 25 μm) as compared with the conventional one, thereby expecting that its durable year can be improved to an extent similar to that using a lead-filled solder, in order to obtain a stainless steel with enhanced corrosion resistance.

摘要: This invention introduces, as one aspect, an apparatus for creating three-dimensional object model, comprising photographing means for photographing an object to be modeled for obtaining images to be used for creating the three-dimensional object model, setting means for longitudinally and latitudinally setting a relative position between the object and said photographing means, said setting means being capable of setting the object and said photographing means a plurality of different relative longitudinal and latitudinal positions, and control means for controlling said photographing means and said setting means so that a number of photographs taken from different relative longitudinal positions at a first relative latitudinal position is larger than that taken from different relative longitudinal positions at a second relative latitudinal position, the first relative latitudinal position being closer to a lateral position than the second relative latitudinal position. Accordingly, it becomes possible to minimize the number of photographs for obtaining necessary images to effectively keep a high quality three-dimensional object model, the number of user's manual operations is reduced, and the total photographing time for creating a three-dimensional object model is significantly decreased.

摘要: A sheet discharging device has a conveying weight for pressing a conveyed sheet to a caterpillar belt. The pressing force of the weight is increased both when the sheet is discharged from the caterpillar belt to a placement tray, and when the sheet is switched back and conveyed to the bottom of the caterpillar belt. The pressing force of the weight is increased concurrently with the driving of a paddle provided at an outlet of the placement tray. The pressing force is increased by a rubber piece provided on a paddle driving shaft that rotates out of phase with the paddle, so as to engage and press the conveying weight at a predetermined time. The device is capable of reliably conveying a wide variety of sheets onto a tray and transferring the conveyed sheets to a predetermined tray position.

摘要: To reduce the number of components and further to provide a downsized sheet feeder, a shaft is arranged to a lower side of a sheet receiver stacking sheets, and gears are respectively attached to each opposite end of the shaft to mesh with rack portions. The gears move, upon gear's rotating, up and down along the rack portions. Another gear in mesh with the gear is further formed to transmit a torque from a driving source to the gear.

摘要: The current edge pair determination system and method determine whether or not an edge pair and certain image characteristics of pixels between the edge pair as a whole or a unit is a part of a character based upon a change in pixel values. The change is compared to a predetermined set of conditions that are exclusionary in nature. Since the edge pair as well the image characteristics of pixels between the edge pair are considered, the accuracy in the character edge determination has improved.

摘要: A work management method and system which manage a project executed by individuals or groups belonging to an organization. In response to a phase transition request from a task management unit, a workflow management unit performs transition and activation of a business phase included in a process definition, sets a work in work management table, and issues a task addition request. In response to an event addition request or a deletion request, an event management unit adds or deletes events to or from an event queue, monitors an occurrence of the event and, when the event occurs, sends a task status transition request to the task management unit. In response to the task addition request, the task management unit sets a task name and a task status name in the work management table, generates the event associated with the task name, issues the event addition request. In response to the task status transition request described above, the task management unit sets the task status name, such as “execute” or “complete”, in a task status column according to the type of the event. When the event type is “execute”, the task management unit generates the event and issues the event addition request; when the event type is “complete”, the unit issues a request to delete the generated event. When the task status values of all tasks, including the task that has completed, of the business phase are “complete”, the task management unit issues the phase transition request.
