摘要: A portable telephone device with incorporated projector 10 displays the contents of a received email upon a main liquid crystal display device 204. When a projection switch of a projector module 6 (FIG. 1) is ON, instead of providing this display upon the main liquid crystal display device 204, it is projected by a projector module 6. During this projection with the projector module 6, the display of the main liquid crystal display device 204 is turned OFF. In the projector module 6, there is included a liquid crystal panel 62 (FIG. 2) which projects a greater number of characters, as compared to the display screen of the main liquid crystal display device 204 upon which the number of characters displayed vertically and horizontally is 10×10. This portable telephone device with incorporated projector 10 projects the contents of the received email after having changed its vertical-horizontal ratio (its row-column ratio) so that the number of characters in the horizontal direction becomes greater, as compared to the display screen of the main liquid crystal display device 204, upon which the numbers of characters being displayed vertically and horizontally are equal.

摘要: An image reproduction device has a display interface, a data reading unit, an image processing section, a recording unit, and a control section. The display interface outputs to a monitor device including a display screen. The data reading unit reads data from an external recording device as well as including a connection section capable of electrically connecting the external recording device recording photographic image data. The image processing section generates monitor image data based on the photographic image data. The image size of the monitor image data corresponds to the image resolution of the monitor device. The recording unit records the monitor image data in a memory. The control section performs the reproduction mode in which a reproduction image based on the monitor image data is displayed on the monitor device. Besides, the control section is configured to produce a reproduction image when not connected with the external recording device.

摘要: A projector module adopts a structure having an optical image forming block and an optical block integrated via a locking member. The optical image forming block adopts a structure achieved by disposing an aluminum substrate at which an LED is mounted and a liquid crystal panel in a casing constituted with a plastic material having low thermal conductivity. The locking member is formed by bending a metal sheet through a sheet metal bending process and the locking member is set in surface contact with the substrate. The optical block adopts a structure achieved by disposing a PBS and a reflecting member at the casing constituted with a plastic material having low thermal conductivity with a quarter-wave plate disposed at the boundary of the two members.

摘要: In addition to an autofocusing operation performed under visible light, an autofocusing operation is also performed under infrared light. By using infrared light, changes in the contrast can be detected accurately regardless of the character of the image. As a result, the focused position can be detected with a high degree of accuracy even in a dark image or an image in which the character of the image changes drastically. In addition, by ascertaining the difference between the infrared light focused position and the visible light focused position and correcting with the infrared light focused position, a focused matched position can be detected with an even higher degree of accuracy.

摘要: A film feeding apparatus includes a driving roller, a take-up spool and a rotatable member on which the take-up spool is mounted. The driving roller feeds a film through the apparatus by contacting the film and is driven at a predetermined speed. The take-up spool receives the film moved through the apparatus by the driving roller, and is located adjacent to the driving roller so that when the film is fed between the driving roller and the take-up spool, the film is pinched between the driving roller and the take-up spool. The take-up spool is rotatably mounted to the rotatable member so as to be rotatable about a rotation center of the take-up spool. The rotatable member is rotatably mounted to the apparatus at a location other than the rotation center of the take-up spool.

摘要: In order to suppress generation of the line bow phenomenon created when light from a light source is collected into a linear form on the surface of an original document by a toric mirror, for example, and in order to obtain uniform lighting, the optical axis of the light source is made to be in a common plane with a line normal to the surface of the toric mirror. Accordingly, the light travelling to the toric mirror, between the light source and the toric mirror, and the light reflected by the toric mirror, travelling between the toric mirror and the second mirror, is not inclined relative to the toric mirror normal line. The second mirror, the optical path conversion mirror, can be a half-mirror positioned between the light source and the toric mirror. Alternatively, a separate light source can be provided on opposite sides of the second mirror. As another alternative, the second mirror can be divided into two portions, with the light source being provided between the two portions.
