The blade outer air seal support may comprise an aft flange and a first forward flange. A pin may be disposed through the aft rail, the aft flange, the first forward flange, and the forward rail.

Abstract: A gas turbine engine includes a turbine section including at least one turbine rotor having at least one blade. A blade outer air seal is positioned radially outward of a radially outer tip of the at least one turbine blade. The blade outer air seal has a forward hook and an aft hook. The forward hook is supported on a forward retainer and the aft hook is supported on an aft hook retainer. The aft hook retainer provides structure to prevent rotation of the blade outer air seal relative to the aft hook retainer. There is an interference fit between the aft hook retainer and the forward retainer. A load path is provided from a static structure through the aft hook retainer to the forward retainer.

Abstract: A seal runner may have an inner annular member, an outer annular member, and a radial wall member joined to the inner annular member according to an angle and extending from the inner annular member to the outer annular member. The seal runner may be positioned axially along a shaft and a bearing may be positioned axially along the shaft such that it is radially between the inner annular member and the outer annular member. In this regard, the seal runner may resemble a “C-shape.” A seal may interface with a seal land radially outboard of the outer annular member. Thus, the seal may be positioned axially near to the bearing so that the axial length of a shaft and accompanying bearing compartment hardware may be minimized.

Abstract: A seal assembly includes a blade outer air seal, a downstream vane, and a pressure wall, according to various embodiments. The blade outer air seal may include a radially outer surface and the downstream vane may be coupled to the blade outer air seal via a fluid sealing engagement. The pressure wall may be coupled to the blade outer air seal and may define a metering orifice. In various embodiments, the metering orifice of the pressure wall is configured to meter air flow from a first plenum upstream of the pressure wall to a second plenum downstream of the pressure wall. In various embodiments, at least a preponderance of the radially outer surface of the blade outer air seal at least partially defines the first plenum and the fluid sealing engagement at least partially defines the second plenum.
