摘要: A sputtering method deposits a film on a substrate by controlling a magnetic field parallel to a surface of a target so that the magnetic field at a part of the target, other than parts of the target which are sputtered during a deposition mode in which a deposition process is performed with respect to the substrate, has an intensity lower than an arbitrary intensity at the other parts during the deposition mode and has an intensity higher than or equal to the arbitrary intensity during a standby mode in which the deposition process is not performed. A redeposited film which is deposited on the part of the target during the deposition mode is removed by performing a sputtering during the standby mode.

摘要: A variable frequency clock output circuit, comprising: a target value register which stores a target value corresponding to an arbitrarily set target frequency; an increase/decrease value register which stores an arbitrarily set increase/decrease value; an adder-subtractor which has an input portion into which a current output value is inputted and outputs a calculation result obtained by adding/subtracting the increase/decrease value stored in the increase/decrease value register to/from the current output value inputted into the input portion based on an addition/subtraction instruction signal; a comparator which compares an output value of the adder-subtractor to the target value stored in the target value register, and outputs an addition/subtraction instruction signal to the adder-subtractor until the output value of the adder-subtractor and the target value coincide; and a clock generator which outputs a clock signal having a frequency proportional to the output value of the adder-subtractor.

摘要: In an image forming apparatus that forms a color image by transferring toner images for respective colors formed on plural rotary photoreceptor drums onto a sheet through an intermediate transfer member, when a controller judges that magnification deviation is generated in a main-scanning direction in superposition of the toner images for respective colors, the controller forms a first color registration deviation detecting mark for detecting at least an amount of deviation in the main scanning direction on the intermediate transfer member, and when the controller judges that the magnification deviation is not generated in the main-scanning direction in the superposition of toner images for respective colors, the controller forms a second color registration deviation detecting mark for detecting only an amount of deviation in a sub scanning direction perpendicular to the main-scanning direction on the intermediate transfer member.

摘要: Since, in Mobile IP, the correspondence of one Mobile Node home address and a care-of address is assumed to be one to one, it is not possible to associate multiple care-of addresses with one home addresses, select an appropriate care-of address from among these and dynamically modify the forwarding destination. In the invention, the binding update sent by the Mobile Node to the Home Agent is extended in order to make it possible to also report the application ID at the same time. The Home Agent selects an appropriate care-of address, based on the application ID.

摘要: According to an aspect of an embodiment, a stacked-film-forming system for forming a stacked film has a first film-forming apparatus including a holder having a frame surrounding the substrate and a holding mechanism for holding the substrate inside the frame so that the major surface of the substrate is vertically oriented, a material emission portion for emitting a material of a first film toward the substrate held in the holder, and a shield being disposed between the holder and the material emission portion and shielding areas except for a portion of the frame from the emitted material. The portion is located at the upper part of the substrate. The stacked-film-forming system has a second film-forming apparatus for forming a second film, on the first film. The second film is made of a material different from the material of the first film.
