    摘要: An information recording medium manufacturing method is provided in which a resin material can be reliably cured even when a light-transmitting stamper is used repeatedly. A resin mask forming method and a transferring apparatus and a light-transmitting stamper used in these methods are also provided. In the above methods, a visible light curable resin material is spread over a workpiece. Then, a light-transmitting stamper including a transferring portion having a predetermined concavo-convex pattern formed therein is brought into contact with the resin material to transfer the concavo-convex pattern to the resin material, and light including visible light is projected onto the resin material through the light-transmitting stamper to cure the resin material.

    摘要: An optical recording medium includes a support substrate, a first resin layer and a second resin layer formed on opposite surface sides of the support substrate, an information recording layer formed between the first resin layer and the support substrate and containing a recording film, and a moisture-proof layer formed between the second resin layer and the support substrate and the moisture-proof layer contains at least one element among elements contained in the recording film. According to the present invention, since the first resin layer is formed on the moisture-proof layer containing at least one element among elements contained in the recording film, on the information recording layer and the second resin layer is formed on the moisture-proof layer, it is possible to form the first resin layer and the second resin layer having substantially the same physical properties on the opposite sides of the support substrate and it is therefore possible to suppress the warpage of the optical recording medium due to heat and moisture to the minimum.

    摘要: The recording data-recording method according to the present invention records recording data encrypted based on a predetermined encryption code on a multilayer optical recording medium comprising two recording layers of a L1 recording layer and a L0 recording layer deposited on at least one side of a substrate. In doing this, the distance between a reference point in the L1 recording layer as a second layer, as counted from an incident direction of a reproduction laser beam or a recording laser beam, and a reference point in the L0 recording layer as a second recording layer, as counted from the incident direction is obtained, and the recording data is encrypted using distance information enabling identification of the obtained distance as the encryption code. This makes it possible to reliably restrict reproduction of recording data from an optical recording medium to which the recording data is copied, while reducing burden on an authorized user.

The light-transmitting layer (102) terminates at a radially inner periphery which forms an annular raised rim (6). The rim is effective for protecting the light-transmitting layer from damages and dust adhesion, and when a plurality of such media are stacked, preventing the media from intimate contact.
