Abstract: An aircraft storage bin that includes an upper housing and a bucket that cooperate to define a bin interior. The bucket is movable with respect to the upper housing between open and closed positions and includes a bottom and right and left side panels. The bottom includes lower and upper surfaces and right and left outer edges. The right and left side panels each include a first section having a first transverse width, a second section having a second transverse width, and a transition section that is located between the first and second sections. The second transverse width is less than the first transverse width. At least a portion of the second section of each of the side panels is received in a slot defined in the upper surface of the bottom of the bucket, such that the right and left side panels extend upwardly from the bottom.

The application further includes a passenger profile input module that receives a passenger profile file having a list of passenger profiles, a passenger selection module that selects a passenger from the list of passenger profiles and associates the passenger with the seat, a bag selection module that selects a bag profile from a bag profile file and associates it with the passenger, a bag placement module that simulates placing the bag into the bin based on the bin dimensions, bin location, and bag profile, and an output module that outputs and stores a simulation output associating the bag and the bin.

The fragrance dispensing unit is configured to dispense at least a first fragrance into the airflow path.

Abstract: An aircraft storage bin that includes an upper housing, and a bucket pivotally connected to the upper housing that cooperates with the upper housing to define a bin interior. The bucket includes a bottom, a front edge and first and second opposing side walls extending upwardly from the bottom and pivots about a pivot axis with respect to the upper housing between an open position and a closed position. When the storage bin is installed in an aircraft, a first horizontal distance is defined between a first vertical line that extends through the pivot axis and the front edge of the bucket when the bucket is in the closed position, and a second horizontal distance is defined between the first vertical line and the front edge of the bucket when the bucket is in the open position. The first horizontal distance is greater than the second horizontal distance.

Abstract: A toilet module attachment assembly that includes a retainer member that is adapted to be secured to a wall and a seal member.
