    摘要: A medication administration tracker is provided. The medication administration tracker includes a medication container, such as an IV bag, vitamin organizer, prescription bottle and the like. If the present invention is a prescription bottle, a lid is releasably securable to the bottle. The present invention may include at least one indicator configured to produce an indication when prompted. A time keeper and a processor are integrated into the lid. The time keeper keeps time and the processor is operatively connected to the indicator and the time keeper. The processor is programmable to receive at least a dosage time and activate the indicator when the time keeper reaches the dosage time.

    摘要: An alarm unit includes an apparatus and a method of maximizing the efficiency of an alarm function that wakes up a sleeping user. An image input unit capable of photographing an eye image as a criterion for determining if the user has woken up is mounted on an alarm control apparatus. The image input unit mounted alarm control apparatus photographs a face image of the user, detects the eye region from the face image, and then determines a state of whether the user has woken up or not based on movement of the pupils in the eye region. If it is determined that the user keeps a waking state for a certain time, an alarm function is cancelled. By doing this, the alarm unit can help prevent the user from easily cancelling an alarm and maximize the efficiency of an alarm function that wakes up a sleeping user.

    摘要: A pointer electronic timepiece (1) has a plurality of step motors, a plurality of pointers (11 to 18), and a plurality of external operation members of a winding crown (5) and buttons (6, 7). The pointer to be adjusted is selected from the plurality of pointers (15 to 18) by operating one of the buttons (6) while drawing out the winding crown (5) to a second stage and the other button (7) is operated to adjust the position of the selected pointer. Since the position of the pointers (15 to 18) driven by three step motors can be adjusted by the two buttons (6, 7), the number of the external operation member is not necessary to be increased even when the pointers (15 to 18), i.e. the step motors, are increased, so that the size and thickness of a movement-holder and cost thereof can be reduced and operability during adjustment can be improved.

    摘要: An alarm clock comprises at least one rotationally driven rotatable time wheel, at least one rotatable detecting wheel rotatable relative to the time wheel to phases corresponding to alarm signaling times by an alarm signaling time setting wheel, and a time detecting switch having an open switching state when the time wheel is out of phase with the detecting wheel and switchable to a closed switching state when the time wheel rotates into phase with the detecting wheel to thereby enable the sounding of an alarm at preselected alarm signaling times. The time detecting switch comprises a slide switch comprising one of the time and detecting wheels being comprised of a one-piece structure composed of electrically conductive material and having a gear teeth portion for meshing with another gear and having a first set of projections which define the contact points of the slide switch, and the other of the time and detecting wheels being composed of electrically insulating material and having a switch plate connected thereto having a contact portion for making sliding electrical contact with the first set of projections.
