摘要： In a cord equipped with a connector, a metal or synthetic resin tube has at one end a connecting ring and in its wall a through-hole communicating with a hollow of the tube. End portions of a cord are inserted in a trued-up form in the hollow from an opening of the connector. The hollow and the through-hole are filled with a molded core insertion-molded of synthetic resin so that the molded core is prevented from accidental removal from the hollow, thus firmly holding the end portions of the cord. This connector-equipped cord is particularly useful when applied to a pull string of a second bag or a slider pull tab of a slide fastener.

摘要： A lock slider, for a slide fastener, includes an upper wing having an interior surface adapted to be in contact with a pair of fastener tapes, and a wedge-like ridge projecting from the interior surface of the upper wing and extending from a guide post toward a rear end of the upper wing for spreading open the respective closely abutting inner longitudinal edges of the fastener tapes. A tapering fore end portion and a rectangular stem of the ridge has a sharp edge. The upper wing further has, in its interior surface, a recessed portion extending around the fore end portion and the stem for for allowing the inner longitudinal tape edges to be displaced into the recessed portion when they are spread open by the ridge. An aperture for the passage of a locking pawl is formed in the upper wing at an intermediate portion of the ridge. By virtue of the combination of the ridge and the aperture, the abutting inner longitudinal tape edges are sufficiently spread open, and the locking pawl comes into locking engagement with the fastener elements inside the slider without interference with the tape edges.

摘要： A novel and improved slider with a yoke for a slide fastener and a novel and improved method for attaching or joining the yoke to the slider body, which may be carried out in simple operation to be attractive in appearance and to provide firm combination between the yoke and the slider body.The front and rear support posts the slider body are respectively provided with locking groove and the contact faces of the yoke are also provided with bulged portions opposite to the locking grooves. In a preferred embodiment, after the support posts are covered with the yoke, a press force is applied to the bulged portion in the forging process to flow the material of the bulged portion into the locking groove so as to provide the firm combination.In the other preferred embodiment, after the yoke is covered on the support posts and is pressed in the deeply covering direction, a part of each support post is deformed by plastic flow to form a bulged portion in the locking groove of the yoke so as to combine the yoke with the support posts.

摘要： A slide fastener slider includes a slider body having a mounting hole extending at least through the thickness of an upper wing of the slider body, a circular disk disposed on the upper wing with its central guide hole aligned with the mounting hole, a pull tab pivotally connected to the circular disk, and a headed retainer pin extending loosely through the guide hole and firmly fitted in the mounting hole to rotatably retain the circular disk on the slider body. The circular disk is substantially concealed by an enlarged head of the retainer pin and hence the slider is sightly in appearance. The mounting hole in which the retainer pin is firmly fitted extends through a guide post of the slider body so that the pull tab is firmly retained on the slider body against detachment even when the pull tab is manipulated with a severe pulling force.

摘要： A locking slider assembly is shown for use with a slide fastener having separable fastener elements having a slider body, upper and lower spaced parallel wings joined at their front ends on the body. A pair of upstanding body tabs are upstruck from the upper wing which also has a front and rear opening therethrough. A leaf spring has a down turned nose terminating in a downwardly bent spring prong for engaging the fastener elements of the slide fastener. A spring means extends off the leaf spring rearwardly of the down turned nose and passes into the forward openings of the upper wing and is positioned to be engaged by the upstanding body tabs on the upper wing. A spring biasing extension is in engagement with the upper wing to impart spring loading to the spring prong to assure engagement with the fastener elements.
