    摘要: A tongs monitor for monitoring the tightening of tubing, casings, and sucker rods of a well is selectively operable in a learning mode and a monitoring mode. A target tightness value is determined during the learning mode. Subsequent tightness values are then compared to the target value. For example, a first connection is tightened in a conventional manner, while its tightness is monitored during the learning mode. If the tightening process went well, then an operator pushes a button that tells the monitor to remember how tight the first connection was tightened. The tightness value of that first joint then becomes the target tightness value for any subsequent joints. As additional joints are tightened, their tightness are monitored and compared to the first one to ensure that all the joints are as good as the first one within an allowable tolerance.

The instrumentation assembly includes a probe having a plurality of passages, each connected to tubular conduits for measuring and recording respective pressures. In the preferred embodiment, dynamic pressures from within a combustion chamber are measured and recorded along with static pressures within the combustion chamber and outside of the combustion chamber, along with external air temperature.

The software program is capable of one or more of the following functions: retrieving current values of physician programmable parameters, selectively retrieving a history of the drive unit operation including error detection records, displaying a continuous ECG, and/or displaying a single-beat sample of aortic pressure waveform obtained in real time from the patient.

    摘要: In accordance with the present invention, an apparatus and a method for regulating exhaust pressure in an evacuation system of a semiconductor process chamber are provided. The method comprises steps of generating a first pressure in the semiconductor process chamber with the evacuation system, monitoring the first pressure to generate a first signal, determining a set point for the exhaust pressure responsive to the first signal, and regulating the exhaust pressure by a controller till reaching the set point. The key aspect of the present invention is to maintain the equilibrium of the chamber pressure and the exhaust pressure by implementing an exhaust controller to control the gas flow rate introduced into the evacuation system. In other words, when the chamber pressure is increased, the gas is introduced into the evacuation system at an increased flow rate. On the other hand, when the chamber pressure is decreased, the gas is introduced into the evacuation system at a decreased flow rate. The dynamic control over the gas introduced into the evacuation system advantageously increase the speed of response during the changes of chamber pressure, as well as active control of the chamber pressure in place of moving the throttle valve. Thus, by minimizing the movement of throttle valve, the chances of particulate contamination of the process are greatly reduced.

The indicating end is inwardly tapered to a flattened distal end to provide equivalent stiffness, but with considerably less mass so as to significantly reduce stress loads on a corresponding movement mechanism.
