摘要: A first thermostat of a building includes a communications interface configured to communicate with at least one of a second thermostat or a network server, a user interface configured to display information to a user and receive input from the user, and a processing circuit. The processing circuit is configured to generate building navigation direction data for user navigation through the building, cause the user interface to display a first building navigation direction based on the generated building navigation direction data, and cause, via the communications interface, the second thermostat to display a second building navigation direction on a second display of the second thermostat based on the generated building navigation direction data.

Solution(s) are generated by processing acoustic event detections based on a multi-sensor fusion of sensor group(s). Solution(s) are refined employing sensor contributions based on a strength of solution compliance value with the spatial boundaries and advancing optimal solutions. Solution(s) are routed to a hub for integration with other services.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed for reliably detecting gunfire in enclosed spaces having significant acoustic reverberation. Implementations are configured to quickly and reliably report the room or portion of a room where gunfire is located. Innovations herein may ensure low false alarm rate by thresholding, pattern recognition and/or detecting the muzzle optical flash. In some embodiments, a review center with trained personnel may evaluate the incident before reporting to local authorities. The indoor system can be incorporated into an outdoor gunshot location system to better protect a local area such as a campus or a transportation hub. Systems and methods herein may involve features and functionality associated with additional resources, such as intercoms, cellphones, and access control, to provide mitigation of harm in case of a shooting.

摘要: The optical body of the invention receives light given off by a light source into a conical spatial region with a central axis extending in the Z-direction. The optical body is substantially V-shaped in a section plane defined by the Z-direction and a X-direction perpendicular thereto. The limbs of the V-shape which respectively have outside and inside wall regions are arranged symmetrically relative to the central axis and converge towards a base portion of the optical body. To achieve uniform light distribution the base portion has a recess of such a depth that a light source whose light cone has an apex angle of approximately 180° extends into the recess to such a degree that substantially all its light is coupled into the optical body. Parts of the entering edge regions of the light cone are deflected on to outside wall regions of the base portion, reflected there and then distributed outwardly away from the central axis by multiple reflections between mutually opposite sub-portions of the inside and outside wall regions of each of the limbs of the V-shape.
