    摘要： A system and method for an engaging tool. Removing debris, trees and clearing land and paths requires the use of specific tool and machinery. To grind, break and shred wood, the machines must be fitted with proper attachments and engaging tools. One tool includes a front a front face and a back face connected by two opposing side faces and an opposing top face and base face. The front face has a concave shape and an outer channel which extends inwardly into the front face. The front face also has a tube a tube extending outwardly from said front face. The tube is located within the outer channel.

    摘要： A tree stump grinding wheel assembly includes a rotor having a plurality of holders distributed about its cutting periphery. Each holder has a neck in which resides a socket adapted to receive the shank of an indexable tooth. A head is attached to one end of the shank and screw threads are formed in its other end. The head has a plurality of flats configured to sequentially register with a forward shoulder on the neck. A hermetic spring is operatively disposed on the shank between a rearward face of the socket and a retention nut. The hermetic spring is made of elastomeric material and has a tapered nose that self-seats in a countersink at the rearward opening of the socket. The hermetic spring has an accordion-like bellows section. The bellows section can have a central annular bulge.

    摘要： A clamping assembly to hold a woodworking knife in place in a woodworking machine. The clamping assembly comprises a clamping component comprising a body and an actuator. The body has three discrete contact positions distributed thereon: 1) a fulcrum located generally at one end, 2) a knife abutting portion located generally at the other end, and 3) a bearing surface located elsewhere. The actuator is for applying a clamping force to the body along a clamping axis located intermediate of the knife abutting portion and the fulcrum. The fulcrum is a surface having a normal that is at an angle to the clamping axis. The bearing surface is a surface wherein a line normal to the bearing surface intersects the line normal to the fulcrum at a position outside of the clamping component at a location farther askew of the clamping axis than the fulcrum.
