摘要: A method and device for detecting inductor current of a PFC circuit are disclosed, which relates to the field of power supply technology. The method includes: detecting a voltage on a boost inductor of a critical-conduction mode PFC circuit, and obtaining an inductor voltage detection signal (S1); converting the inductor voltage detection signal into a voltage signal whose waveform is consistent with a current waveform of the inductor to serve as an inductor current detection signal, to perform loop protection on the PFC circuit or perform over-current protection on the PFC circuit by using the inductor current detection signal (S2).

摘要: A power-source protection circuit includes a power source including a first voltage rail and a second voltage rail, a pass switch connected across the first voltage rail and a third voltage rail, a control switch connected to the second voltage rail and a control terminal of the pass switch, such that the pass switch turns on in response to the control switch turning on and the pass switch turns off in response to the control switch turning off, and output terminals connected to the third voltage rail and the second voltage rail. The control switch is arranged to switch on when the power source is started and the control switch is arranged to switch off when the output terminals are short-circuited and to switch on when the short-circuit is removed.

摘要: A DC-DC switching converter soft start method is provided, using a scaled switch size. An increased switch resistance, higher than the normal operating switch resistance, is achieved during the startup of the switching converter. The on-resistance of the high side switch, together with a minimum duty cycle, reduces the peak inductor current of the switching converter. After a startup period, the switching converter reverts back to a normal switch resistance.

摘要: A digital power supply protection circuit includes: a signal preprocessing circuit, configured to receive an overcurrent signal and a first inceptive impulse clock timing, and perform preprocessing on the overcurrent signal according to the first inceptive impulse clock timing so as to obtain a first reference signal a signal generation circuit, configured to receive the first inceptive impulse clock timing, count time duration between a rising edge of the first inceptive impulse clock timing and a rising edge of the first reference signal so as to obtain a first time duration, and upon the first time duration is greater than a second time duration, generate a first disabling signal by delaying the rising edge of the first inceptive impulse clock timing for the second time duration; and a clock timing adjustment circuit, configured to adjust the first inceptive impulse clock timing according to the first disabling signal.

摘要: A power converter capable of performing over-voltage protection and over-temperature protection converts an input voltage into an output voltage. A power switch is connected in series with a primary winding between the input voltage and an input ground. A power controller with a multi-function pin controls the power switch to control a winding current through the primary winding. The power converter has a multi-purpose circuit with first and second resistors, a rectifier and a thermistor. A connection node makes the first and second resistors connected in series between two ends of an auxiliary winding. The rectifier and the thermistor are connected in parallel between the multi-function pin and the connection node. The power controller can perform over-voltage protection and over-temperature protection via the multi-purpose circuit and the multi-function pin.

摘要: The invention provides a low phase surge protection device including a voltage converter, a low phase delay detector and an output control switch. The voltage converter receives an alternate current (AC) input voltage, and converts the AC input voltage into a direct current (DC) input voltage. The low phase delay detector receives the DC input voltage to be a power source, enables a phase detection scheme by detecting whether the AC input voltage is in a stable state, and generates an enable signal by detecting a phase of the AC input voltage after the phase detection scheme is enabled. The output control switch receives the AC input voltage, and determines whether to transmit the AC input voltage to be an output voltage according to the enable signal.

摘要: A driving circuit drives an N-channel or NPN high-side transistor. A level shift circuit includes an open-drain differential conversion circuit that converts an input signal SIN into a differential signal SdiffP/SdiffN, and a latch circuit that switches its state according to the differential output SdiffP/SdiffN of the differential conversion circuit. A driver drives a high-side transistor according to an output of the level shift circuit. A bootstrap circuit generates a bootstrap voltage VBST to be used as an upper-side power supply for the driver. Upon detecting an abnormal state, a protection circuit controls at least a part of the driving circuit except for the input signal SIN so as to turn off the high-side transistor.
