Abstract: Method for generating haptic feedback responses starts with processor causing communication interface for communication session to be displayed on first user interface and on a second user interface. Processor detects first touch input on first user interface and second touch input on second user interface. Processor monitors location of the first touch input on the first user interface and location of the second touch input on the second user interface. Processor determines distance between location of first touch input on first user interface and location on first user interface corresponding to location of second touch input on second user interface. Processor causes the first user interface and the second user interface to generate a haptic feedback response based on the distance. The haptic feedback response increases in intensity or speed as the distance decreases and decreases in intensity or speed as the distance increases. Other embodiments are described herein.

Abstract: A server maintains a gallery of ephemeral messages respectively comprising visual media content, such as user-provided photographic content or user-provided video content. Each ephemeral message is posted to the gallery by a user for viewing by recipients via recipient devices. In response to a gallery view request from any of the recipient devices, the ephemeral messages in the gallery are displayed on the requesting device in automated sequence, each message being displayed for a respective display duration before display of the next message in the gallery. The gallery has a global gallery availability parameter, and each message has a gallery participation timer. The gallery is made unavailable for viewing upon expiry of the gallery availability parameter or upon expiry of the gallery participation timer of a last posted message in the gallery, whichever occurs first.

Abstract: Systems, methods, devices, media, and computer-readable instructions are described for local image tagging and processing in a resource-constrained environment such as a mobile device. In some embodiments, characteristics associated with images are used to determine whether to store content (e.g., images and video clips) as ephemeral content or non-ephemeral content. Based on the determination, the image is stored in a non-ephemeral camera roll storage of the mobile device, or an ephemeral local application storage. Additional storage operations such as encryption or backup copying may additionally be determined and performed based on the analysis of the content. In some embodiments, such images may be indexed, sorted, and searched based on the image tagging operations used to characterize the content.

Abstract: An electronic eyewear device includes a display and a speaker system adapted to present augment reality objects and associated sounds in a scene being viewed by the user. A processor receives one or more audio tracks respectively associated with one or more augmented reality objects, encodes the audio tracks into an aggregated audio track including the audio tracks, a header for each audio track that uniquely identifies each respective audio track, and an aggregate header that identifies the number of tracks in the aggregated audio track. The processor transfers the aggregated audio track to an audio processor that uses the header for each audio track and the aggregate header to separate the audio tracks from the aggregated audio track. The audio processor processes the audio tracks independently in parallel and provides the audio tracks to the speaker system for presentation with the augmented reality objects.
