    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing a program and a method for detecting a pose of a user. The program and method include operations comprising: receiving a monocular image that includes a depiction of a body of a user in a given pose; detecting a plurality of skeletal joints of the body depicted in the monocular image; generating an outline of the body of the user based on the plurality of skeletal joints; retrieving a mask that represents a target pose; comparing the outline of the body depicted in the monocular image with the mask that represents the target pose; and determining that the given pose of the body of the user matches the target pose in response to comparing the outline of the body with the mask.

    Abstract: A neural network system includes an eyewear device. The eyewear device has a movement tracker, such as an accelerometer, gyroscope, or an inertial measurement unit for measuring acceleration and rotation. The neural network system tracks, via the movement tracker, movement of the eyewear device from at least one finger contact inputted from a user on an input surface. The neural network system identifies a finger gesture by detecting at least one detected touch event based on variation of the tracked movement of the eyewear device over a time period. The neural network system adjusts the image presented on the image display of the eyewear device based on the identified finger gesture. The neural network system can also detect whether the user is wearing the eyewear device and identify an activity of the user wearing the eyewear device based on the variation of the tracked movement over the time period.

    Abstract: Method for generating collectible media content items based on location information starts with processor receiving location information from location sensor coupled to first client computing device. Processor causes a map interface to be displayed that includes avatar of first user at a location based on the location information and a subset of a plurality of collectible items associated with geographical coordinates. When the first client computing device is determined to be within predetermined distance from a selected collectible item, processor causes front facing camera view to be displayed on the first client computing device, causes lens corresponding to selected collectible item to be applied to the front facing camera view, and causes the image of the selected collectible item displayed on the front facing camera view to change. Lens includes image of the selected collectible item that is overlaid on front facing camera view. Other embodiments are described herein.
