Control data for controlling a call is stored in a data store accessible by the packet handler. The control data identifies call participants and the identity of a participant who has currently seized the call. A mobile station capable of video conferencing is operable in a half-duplex video conferencing mode, in which intermittent transmission of video data is controlled by depression of a transmit button.

Furthermore, the method comprises counting a number of time-slot transmissions during the time slots preceding the time slot j wherein when the number of time-slot transmissions is greater than a threshold, the data transmission is postponed or cancelled. Furthermore, when the number of time-slot transmissions is less than or equal to the threshold, a transmission is made during the time slot j, and one of the transmission channels is determined as a function of said number of time-slot transmissions.

    摘要: The invention relates to a transmission control method implemented by a station having at least one data frame to be transmitted via a wireless telecommunication network. In one aspect, the method comprises, at each selection round from a maximum number of selection rounds: a step of obtaining a value representative of either an authorization to transmit said frame, or of a prohibition to transmit said frame; and, when the value is representative of an authorization for transmission, transmitting an information signal in the network so as to indicate, to the other stations, that the station has obtained a value representative of an authorization for transmission. The transmission of the information signal is at least partially carried out during the transmission of a data frame in the network.
