    摘要： An antibacterial oral composition effective to promote oral hygiene containing an antibacterial antiplaque agent and an additive which reduces staining of dental surfaces without substantially diminishing the antibacterial and antiplaque activity of the agent. Bis-biguanido hexanes, such as chlorhexidine and alexidine, and quaternary ammonium salts, such as benzethonium chloride and cetyl pyridinium chloride, are typical examples of antibacterial agents. The antistain additive is phosphonoacetic acid or salts thereof.

    摘要： The invention is directed to an oral composition that contains an amphoteric surfactant and an homo- or copolymer comprising an ethylenic monomer and related methods. The ethylenic monomer includes a phosphonate group. The monomer may be represented by the structure of Formula (I): wherein one of A and A′ is a hydrogen atom and the other is selected from a hydrogen atom or a group —(X)nRm; wherein n is i\selected from 0 or 1; provided that when n is 0, m is 1, and when n is 1, m is an integer of 1 to 3; X is selected from an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom, a nitrogen atom, a phosphorous atom, and silicon atom; R is independently a hyuderogen atom or an arganic radical; L is selected from a bond and a linking group; M and M′ are independently selected from a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal, and an ammonium ion, or together form an alkaline earth metal or other divalent element; and p is 1 or 2, provided that when L is a bond, p is 1.

    摘要： An oral carrier strip for the delivery of an oral care composition to the oral cavity of a human or animal subject is provided. The strip includes a first portion adapted to contact a front facing side of a plurality of teeth. A second portion is provided to be folded around the teeth so as to contact a back facing side of the teeth. The first portion has a first perimeter patterned to substantially match a shape of an outer gingival tissue, and the second portion has a second perimeter opposite the first perimeter and patterned to match a shape of an inner gingival tissue. The second perimeter defines an aperture disposed in the second portion having a rounded notch positioned in a center portion of the strip, configured to prevent the strip from tearing when folded around the teeth.

    摘要： A Revolutionary Dialysis Container for safe dialysis of biological samples is described. A handle with wide top gives a non-slippery grip to lift and carry the container by a human hand. On its bottom, the buffer reservoir possesses a Sample Saver, which is nothing but a flat top plate attached to a vertical side wall. The reservoir holds dialysis buffer and bags containing biological samples. The Sample Saver encloses a bar magnet. The flat top plate and the vertical side wall of Sample Saver have several openings for the free flow of buffer during dialysis. However, these openings eliminate physical contact between dialysis bags and the highly spinning bar magnet. Also, the flat top plate, because of special distribution of openings, suppresses the formation of vortex in buffer during mixing. This preassembled unit also provides safety to long dialysis bags. One can dialyze fast and save time. It is simple to use and practically free of maintenance.
