Abstract: Methods and systems for responding to changing conditions include training a model, using a processor, using trajectories that resulted in a positive outcome and trajectories that resulted in a negative outcome. Training is performed using an adversarial discriminator to train the model to generate trajectories that are similar to historical trajectories that resulted in a positive outcome, and using a cooperative discriminator to train the model to generate trajectories that are dissimilar to historical trajectories that resulted in a negative outcome. A dynamic response regime is generated using the trained model and environment information. A response to changing environment conditions is performed in accordance with the dynamic response regime.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method is provided for finding a data transmission beam from an Access Point (AP) to a User Equipment (UE) in a communication system. The method includes selecting a probing beam from a set of probing beams. The method further includes sending a plurality of probing packets from the AP to the UE using a dedicated probing beam selected for each probing packet from among the set of probing beams. The method also includes receiving feedback from the UE regarding the plurality of probing packets. Abstract: A computer-implemented method is provided for computer intrusion detection. The method includes establishing a mapping from low-level system calls to user functions in computer programs. The user functions run in a user space of an operating system. The method further includes identifying, using a search algorithm inputting the mapping and a system-call trace captured at runtime, any of the user functions that trigger the low-level system calls in the system-call trace. The method further includes performing, by a processor device, intrusion detection responsive to a provenance graph with program contexts. The provenance graph has nodes formed from the user functions that trigger the low-level system calls in the system-call trace. Edges in the provenance graph have edge labels describing high-level system operations for low-level system call to high-level system operation correlation-based intrusion detection.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure describe distributed fiber optic sensing (DFOS) systems, methods, and structures that advantageously provide DFOS and WDM communications over amplified, multi-span optical WDM optical telecommunications facilities using all Raman amplification and coding schemes. Our all-Raman amplification operates stably—without isolators—and provides sufficient gain to compensate for fiber span loss for both DFOS signals and WDM channel signals—at the same time. Furthermore, our inventive techniques employ signal coding, such as MB-TGD-OFDR for DAS, and we operate our DFOS operation power at a much lower power level as compared to pulse interrogation techniques. With improved OSNR and reduced power using signal coding along with our distributed Raman amplification, our DFOS systems can co-exist with WDM communication channels on the same amplified multi-span fiber optic links over great distances.
