摘要： A sliding shutter for a magnetic disk cartridge is disclosed which includes an engaging member positioned to contact a torsion spring in the cartridge during the process of fitting the shutter onto the cartridge. The engaging member acts to guide the spring to the proper position for engagement and has an angled face to facilitate the movement of the spring into engagement in a notch in the engaging member. This also reduces the rate of product rejects caused by springs which are mis-positioned during the assembly process.

摘要： Disclosed is a magnetic recording disk cartridge comprising a slide indicator movable step by step along one side wall of the casing to indicate the number of pictures already recorded in an associated magnetic recording medium, a ratchet member for preventing the slide indicator from moving backward, and a reset member for releasing the slide indicator from the ratchet member and permitting the return of the slide indicator to the start position. The combined action of these elements permits: first, the indication of the exact number of pictures recorded in the magnetic recording medium when the cartridge is removed from the camera body, with no danger of an erroneous indication of a lesser number than the number of the recorded pictures; and second, the return of the slide indicator to the start position if it is desired that the magnetic recording medium be erased and reused from the beginning.

摘要： A pair of friction sheets loosely disposed between the opposite end faces of wind-up cores and the inner surfaces of a cassette casing in a magnetic tape cassette are loosely engaged with posts of rotatable guide rollers and guide pins in the cassette so that the opposite side edges of the magnetic tape may be guided by the friction sheets substantially throughout its path and the tape may be fed in a stable manner. Engaging portions of the friction sheets may have protruded portions protruded toward the inner surfaces of the casing to guide the tape with sufficient friction. When the magnetic tape cassette is put into a cassette tape recorder, the tape travels stably with respect to the magnetic head of the recorder.

摘要： A ceramic guide for tape-like materials such as magnetic recording tapes, movie films, and microfilms, and a process for producing such ceramic guides are described. The ceramic guide is a sintered product of (A) 98 to 93 parts by weight of barium titanate, (B) 2 to 7 parts by weight of a silicate inorganic binder, and (C) 0.2 to 2 parts by weight, per 100 parts by weight of (A) and (B), of lanthanum oxide. The ceramic guide meets the requirements for guides for use in, e.g., small sized video cassettes, is non-magnetic, electrically conductive and has anti-static properties and, therefore, it does not generate static charge and has a low coefficient of friction during running of tape-like materials in contact therewith.

摘要： A disk cartridge capable of smoothly opening/closing a head opening without enlarging a second shutter. In a disk cartridge, a disc-shaped disk medium is rotatably housed in a disk housing portion of a case, and a head opening through which a head of a drive device accesses a recording face is formed in the bottom plate of the case. The head opening is closed when an end of a first shutter, which is rotatable coaxially with the disk medium and an end of a second shutter swingable around an axis different from that of the first shutter come into contact with each other. Each of the contact ends of the first and second shutters includes an arc portion having the axis of turn of the second shutter as a center.

摘要： A recording disk cartridge is provided which includes a plurality of flexible recording disk media stacked inside a cartridge case so as to rotate integrally. The cartridge case includes a lower plate for constructing a lower wall parallel to the plurality of recording disk media, a plurality of inner plates which are stacked and fixed on the lower plate and partition the plurality of recording disk media, and an upper plate which is stacked and fixed on the plurality of inner plates and constructs an upper wall of the cartridge case. An opening is formed in a part of a side wall constructed of the lower plate, the plurality of inner plates, and the upper plate. The recording disk cartridge further includes a lower rotor and an upper rotor supported on inner sides of the lower plate and the upper plate respectively so as to rotate, and a shutter plate having a height corresponding to a height of the stacked recording disk media. The shutter plate is engaged with the upper rotor and the lower rotor so as to open and close the opening.
