摘要： In a paper feeding and ejecting device for a printing apparatus, a sheet of paper is fed by a paper feeding roller from the top of a stack of paper sheets in a magazine through a feeding guide to a gripping assembly on the peripheral surface of a platen which is rotated in one direction during printing and in the opposite direction during ejecting of a printed sheet through an ejecting guide to ejecting rollers. The feeding roller and the ejecting rollers are driven by a single reversible drive motor at suitable times during the operating cycle. The feeding guide and the ejecting guide are separated from each other at the platen so that the feeding of a sheet to the platen will not interfere with the ejecting of a printed sheet. At the completion of each operating cycle, the feeding roller is accurately located at a standby position without requiring the use of a control sensor therefor.

The control section determines specific pages, being suitable for applying a predetermined image processing, based on the attributes detected by the detecting section, so as to apply the predetermined image processing to the specific pages. On the other hand, the control section applies image processing, including a variable power processing, to both the partial image area and the partial character area by employing different magnification factors, so as to generate a size-changed partial image area and a size-changed partial character area, and to arrange both of them into a predetermined imaginary area being smaller than an area of the original image, so as to accommodate them within the predetermined imaginary area.

摘要： In the image forming apparatus, when the document data is developed to generate the print data in order to print out by the document data, the possibility of repeated requests to print out by the document data is determined by whether or not the document data is stored in the shared directory, or whether or not the document data is attached to the electronic mail distributed to a plurality of people. If the need of storing the document data has been determined, the document data is stored in the image forming apparatus. Upon receipt of a request to print out by the same document data as this document data, the stored print data is used for printing.

摘要： Peritoneal dialysis systems are provided by the present disclosure. In a general embodiment, a peritoneal dialysis system includes a cycler, a disposable cassette operable with the cycler, a supply bag connected to the disposable cassette, a supply connector, a supply line extending from the disposable cassette, a patient connector in fluid communication with a patient's indwelling catheter, a device to connect the supply connector to the patient connector, and a housing around the device. The housing includes a plurality of ultraviolet (“UV”) light-emitting diodes (“LED's”) for directing energy towards at least one of the supply or patient connectors. The LED's are configured to deliver about 200 milliJoules in a period of about a minute.
