摘要： A flow-through fluid heater comprises: a high thermal conductivity conduit-defining body shaped to provide a conduit that extends between an inlet port and an outlet port; one or more heating elements connected to the body for providing heat to the body, thereby permitting the body to provide heat to fluid flowing through the conduit; a temperature sensor connected to sense a measured temperature indicative of a temperature of the fluid in a vicinity of the temperature sensor; one or more flow rate sensors for sensing a measured flow rate of the fluid through the conduit; and a controller connected to receive signals from the temperature sensor and the flow rate sensors, the controller configured to control an amount of heat energy imparted to the fluid during a period that the fluid is resident in the conduit between the inlet port and the outlet port based at least in part on the measured temperature and the measured flow rate.

摘要： Disclosed herein is a plate-type heat exchanger or chiller, with multiple stacking plates stacked one on top of the other such that a first fluid duct for a first fluid and a second fluid duct for a second fluid are formed between the stacking plates. A first inlet and outlet opening for conducting in and discharging the first fluid, and a second inlet and outlet opening for conducting in and discharging the second fluid is provided. The first inlet or outlet opening is formed by an immersion pipe and the first fluid can be conducted into the first fluid duct through the immersion pipe, such that the first inlet and outlet openings are formed on the same side of the heat exchanger.

摘要： An apparatus for selectively extending and retracting spikes includes spike actuating assemblies mounted to, and cooperating between, a first plate and a first slider frame, and a second plate and a second slider frame, pivotally mounted to the first plate and first slider frame respectively. Each spike actuating assembly contains a spike. The first slider frame is translatable to actuate the spike actuating assemblies to thereby extend and retract the spikes from the spike actuating assemblies. A cyclically alternating positioner is mounted on the first plate for moving the first and second slider frames relative to the first and second plates. The positioner has only a single actuating button adjacent the heel. Depressing the actuating button a first time causes the positioner to move the slider frames to extend the spikes. Depressing the actuating button a second time causes the positioner to move the slider frames to retract the spikes.

摘要： A cleaning card for use in cleaning internal surfaces of machine components includes a substrate having a central plane between opposed surfaces thereof, a machine direction dimension defined between opposed end edges and a transverse direction dimension defined between opposed side edges. The substrate includes an embossment forming angled, substantially non-collapsible, elongate raised ridges on opposite sides of the cleaning card substrate, with the raised ridges being oriented at an angle to the machine direction for incrementally wiping transversely across the internal surfaces to be cleaned, which can include peripheral surfaces of idler rolls. Preferably the opposed surfaces of the substrate each have a plurality of discrete, raised and collapsible working areas for engaging and cleaning internal surfaces of machine components.

摘要： A tonneau cover is arranged to mount on the truck box of a conventional pick up truck for enclosing the box. The cover comprises a pair of panels which are pivotally mounted on respective sides of the box. The panels extend laterally inward such that free ends of the panels engage each other in a closed position. The panels may be pivoted upward and secured in an upward orientation by a pair of rails connected between the free ends of the respective panels in an extended position of the panels. The panels form a pair of side walls in the extended position for supporting large cargo in the box. The rails form a rack in the extended position for supporting additional cargo thereon. A locking device secures the panels in the closed position while a plurality of struts provides additional support to the panels when pivoting the panels between the closed and extended positions.

Each strap mount connection point is proximal to the connection plane and to the electrical outlet associated with that strap mount connection point. Straps are coupled to the strap mounts. Each strap is configured to releasably secure a power cord plug received by one of the electrical outlets to the associated strap mount at the connection point.

The cover comprises a pair of panels which are pivotally mounted on respective sides of the box. In the most preferred embodiments, discrete, raised and collapsible working areas cooperate with the raised ridges for aiding in cleaning idler roll(s).
