摘要: A glass panel, its manufacturing method and a spacer for use in the glass panel. In the glass panel, a plurality of spacers (3) are formed between and along a first opposing face (2A) of a first glass sheet (1A) and a second opposing face (2B) of a second glass sheet (1B) so as to form a space (C) therebetween, and a sealing material (6) is provided at peripheral edge (1a) of the first glass sheet (1A) and the second glass sheet (1B) for maintaining the space (C) gas-tight. The plurality of such spacers (3) having, at one side thereof, contact portions (5) capable of coming into contact with the first opposing face (2A) are provided on the second opposing face (2B). The contact portions (5) and the first opposing face (2A) are movable relative to each other.

摘要: A double glazing having a plurality of sheet glass (1) (2) juxtaposed in the direction of thickness with spacers (3) arranged in between, peripheries of these sheet glasses (1) (2) being sealed throughout the circumference thereof. Reinforced sheet glass is employed for at least one of the plurality of sheet glasses (1) (2), and the peripheries of the sheet glasses are sealed by a sealing material having a sealing temperature below 400° C.

摘要: To provide a tight seal for a fill bore in the wall or an end plug of a dharge vessel for high-pressure discharge lamps, a fill bore is provided either through the wall--in the region of the plug--or through a plug, and the fill bore is then closed by a stopper in combination with a melt sealing material, which is so chosen that the sealing material and plug-like member combination provide a minimum of sealing material exposed to the fill in the discharge volume. The fill in the discharge volume of the discharge vessel is ionizable and, for example containing halides, is highly corrosive to the sealing material. The lamp can be made by inserting a stopper into the filling bore, applying, with the stopper in place in the filling bore, sealing material to the outer end of the filling bore, and heating the portion of the discharge vessel to liquefying temperature of the sealing material to liquefy the sealing material and hence close off the fill bore.

摘要: The states of contact switches are switched when a mode switch is turned on. If the drilling operation is effected by means of a drill motor in this state, an oscillation signal which is repeatedly set to "H" and "L" in a preset period corresponding to an output of an oscillator is supplied to the control terminal of a firing pulse generator. The firing pulse generator interrupts supply of the control signal to the control terminal of a triac in the above preset period based on the oscillation signal supplied to the control terminal thereof to interrupt supply of an AC power source from a commercial AC power source to a bridge-type rectifier so as to intermittently drive a feed motor which is energized by an output of the rectifier in the above preset period. As a result, the drill motor can be intermittently fed towards a to-be-worked object by means of the feed motor, and, when the feeding operation is interrupted, a cutting operation can be instantaneously stopped and swarf can be cut apart.
