摘要: An input stage for an integrated circuit device provides constant gain in selectable modes of either differential or single-ended operation. In one embodiment, transconductance devices are arranged so that the input impedance of the input stage matches the signal source impedance, regardless whether the input stage is selected to operate in a differential mode or in a single-ended mode. In accordance with an alternative embodiment, constant-gain and constant-impedance conditions are maintained in a configuration that comprises and input signal attenuator. In one application, the input stage may serve as a low-noise amplifier (LNA) for an integrated transceiver.

摘要: A magnetically differential input circuit is arranged to define at least two loops, wherein each of the loops traverses the input of a receiving circuit. The loops are physically arranged so that a source of interference induces opposing signals in the loops, thereby effecting cancellation of the interference at the input of the receiving circuit. In one embodiment, the input circuit is arranged to be electrically differential as well as magnetically differential.

摘要: An illuminated confection assembly includes a light device, a light transmission element attached to the light device, and an edible confection attached to the light transmission element. The confection has an interior portion that is adapted and constructed to receive light from the light device via the light transmission element. The confection further includes a light passage arrangement which permits light to pass from the interior portion of the confection to the ambient atmosphere and thus be generally observable. The confection can be transparent or translucent, or may be opaque with light passages formed therein. In various embodiments, the confection assembly can include a tube with a reflective inner coating, a confection specifically designed to fit tightly on the tube, a light bulb, a battery, and a switch.

摘要: An automotive interior component, such as a headrest or armrest, including a U-shaped tubular support frame for supporting the interior component. A blow molded or injection molded bun is molded directly onto a portion of the frame structure. A resilient urethane foam pad is secured to a surface of a fabric, vinyl or leather trim cover and the molded bun is enveloped by the trim cover and foam pad. Alternatively, the molded pad is formed by first and second half shell with the frame structure received and secured between the half shells. The half shells and interconnected with the frame structure there between and enveloped by the trim cover and foam pad. A method of manufacturing the interior component includes placing the frame structure in a mold, molding the rigid bun about a portion of the frame structure to form the contoured shape of the interior component, removing the rigid bun and frame structure from the mold, securing a resilient foam pad onto a surface of a trim cover, and enveloping the rigid bun in the trim cover and foam pad.

摘要: A dual operational and stop light control for adapting combined stop and turn signal lights on a trailer to independent stop signal and turn signal lights on a towing vehicle. The adaptor has a pair of switching circuits, each including a PNP transistor connected in series with an NPN transistor to chassis ground and each transistor connected to both stop and turn signal circuits of the towing vehicle and also to an NPN output transistor which is connected to an independent voltage source to drive the trailer signal lights independent of the voltage at the towing vehicle signal lights.

摘要: The present invention relates to apparatus and methods to provide a control system for the purpose of redirecting light from a source onto a target. The present invention appreciates that the optical properties of light that is both modified and/or distributed, e.g. by diffraction, diffusion, or some other process, and also redirected by a heliostat, can be a function of how the light redirecting element is aimed. This means that the aim of the light redirecting element can be precisely determined once the aim of the modified and/or distributed light is known. Advantageously, the characteristics of modified and/or distributed light indicative of how that light is aimed can be determined from locations outside the zone of concentrated illumination in which sensors are at undue risk. This, in turn, means that modified and/or distributed light characteristics can be detected at a safe location, and this information can then be used to help precisely aim the light redirecting element onto the desired target, such as a receiver in a CSP system. The aim of the modified and/or distributed light is thus an accurate proxy for the light beam to be aimed at the receiver.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed permitting a sender to send a secret and secure message to a recipient. An application on a sender device interfaces with known message generating tools to permit a user to generate a message. The local application encrypts the message (and optional attachments) based on public/private key pairing negotiated with the server given the recipient device id. The sender device transmits the cipher text to the server. The server generates a benign, text-based, context-appropriate message and delivers same to a recipient device by way of a known messaging service. The benign message provides a secret clue to the recipient that an encrypted message is available. Recipient may then access and decrypt the encrypted message, such as from the server in response to a successful challenge (e.g., password request).
