Abstract:
The present invention relates to a treadmill having a base frame with a handrail. The base frame is provided with two rollers at both ends thereof. A support plate is interposed between both rollers. And a walking belt is disposed around the rollers and the support plate. The base frame has a plurality of crossbars in the position of the support plate, and the crossbars is provided with at least one buffer piece in the middle thereof which is in contact with the bottom face of the support plate. A support element has a bottom member on the base frame and a top member fixed on the bottom of the support plate, and both members are pivotably connected, thereby positioning the support plate indirectly on the base frame. Accordingly, the injury of the feet is avoided and the service life of the support plate is prolonged.
Abstract:
A treadmill having two handgrip frames, a base frame and a deck frame includes a displacement detector of a shock absorption unit. A cantilever has one end pivotably connected to the lower portion of each of the handgrip frames and the other end pivotably connected to the deck frame. A displacement detector and an adjustable cushioning apparatus with a driving motor are interposed between each connecting arm of the handgrip frame and each cantilever for adjusting the cushioning force. The displacement detector having a cable, a guide roller, a large gear, a small gear and an optical disk is installed at bottom end of the adjustable cushioning apparatus. The optical disk and the small gear are received on a shaft. An optical detector is mounted near one side of the optical disk. The cable with one end fixed at the connecting arm of the handgrip frame extends around the guide roller and the large gear and is secured to the other end to the base frame.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an elevatingly folding unit of an electric exercise treadmill having a main frame, a deck frame, a belt-driving assembly and an elevatingly folding unit. The deck frame is interposed between two foot seats, including a deck and a continuous belt. And the belt-driving assembly is disposed at one end of the deck frame to drive the continuous belt for a cyclical rotation. In addition, the elevatingly folding unit is used for the deck frame to perform an elevating or a folding action. This folding unit makes use of a servomotor to drive the transmission spindle through a gearbox such that a slide shaft is movable forward and backward. The slide shaft is pivoted with two elevating rods while the other end thereof is pivotally mounted on a fixing shaft of the deck frame. When the slide shaft moves forward and backward, a relatively elevating action will be created at one end of the deck frame. Moreover, when the slide shaft moves, the folding support pivoted at one end of the foot seat and a movable support are pivotally joined with the deck frame such that a relatively folding action of the deck frame is created.
Abstract:
A cooling fan for an electric treadmill motor comprising an induced-draft fan of an independently running motor disposed at one side of said treadmill motor and covered with a protection hood and a support, wherein said induced-draft fan keeps at a constant air draft power no matter how fast said treadmill motor runs in order to compulsorily perform a strong cooling operation so that the air rapidly passes from a cooling air inlet at the other side of said treadmill motor through an armature inside of said treadmill motor and completely exhausted from an air outlet of said treadmill motor adjacent to said induced-draft fan in order to achieve a cooling effect and to prevent said armature of said treadmill motor from being burnt down due to being overheated.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an improved electric treadmill with a single motor for adjusting the height of a running board and for folding the treadmill in which another motor is provided at the bottom of the running support in order to transmit a worm shaft which drives a gearbox in order for a polygonal output shaft at two sides of said gearbox to rotate at the original position; thereafter, two connecting rods of pulley blocks are driven to perform a height-adjusting action of the treadmill. Moreover, the actuating rod includes a pin at a proper position, and the running support contains a hole so that a pivoting fixing is created by means of the pin and the hole. Accordingly, after the two actuating rods are driven by the motor and another parts, the running support can be lifted or lowered in order to achieve the folding effect of the treadmill.
Abstract:
An improved mechanism to the electronic control panel of treadmills includes a main electronic control board which including a framework, a main control board, and a base plate. The main control board is assembled at a receiving slot in the center of the framework, while on one side of the receiving slot, an elongated groove is furnished, which is connected and fastened to the main control board so that it joins the opposite side of the main control board to form a gliding slot for the motor speed-control button. In the mean time, one side wall beneath the main control board near the gliding slot is equipped with an adjustable resistor that controls the motor operating cycle, and the adjustable resistor is made in a paralleled condition to the sliding slot, while the lever is extended towards outside. In such configuration, it serves to engage the shaft receptacle at the motor speed control button to complete the assembly. The lever is exposed outside the gliding slot so that the shaft of the adjustable resistor is not located on the same vertical surfaces as that of the gliding slot as the main feature.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an improved belt guiding device for treadmill including a rubber roller jacket on both rollers and the rubber rollers jackets are of proper thickness and the length is slightly less than the length of the rollers. So two ends of the rollers are exposed and is equal in length, also, the length of belt strip is narrower than the lengths of rollers and wider than the length of roller jacket. Therefore, after the belt strip is installed and tightly wrapped on the two rollers, the two roller jackets will generate the bent parts of equal length on the belt strip and these bent parts are able to accurately and effectively guide the belt strip along the rollers during the rotation of the belt strip.
