Abstract: A supporting assembly for an outdoor computing system is disclosed. The supporting assembly includes a holder having a base from which a peripheral wall extends and a foldable unit mechanically attached to the holder within the peripheral wall. The foldable unit has a first side, a second side connected to the first side and movable relative to the first side, and a third side connected to the first side and movable relative to the first side. The supporting assembly further includes a plurality of springs including a first spring and a second spring, the first spring being attached between the first side and the second side, the second spring being attached between the first side and the third side. The foldable unit is configured to change between an open configuration and a closed configuration, the foldable unit being maintained in the open configuration solely by the plurality of springs.

Abstract: A handle for securing a tray of a computing system comprises a baseplate and a locking pin. The baseplate can be movably coupled to the tray and be movable between a first position and a second position. The first position prevents removal of the tray and the second position allows removal of the tray. The locking pin extends from the baseplate and can be coupled to a first portion of the tray when the baseplate is in the first position, and a second portion of the tray when the baseplate is in the second position. The locking pin is movable in a first direction relative to the baseplate to be coupled to the first portion of the tray and the second portion of the tray, and a second direction relative to the baseplate to be uncoupled from the first portion of the tray and the second portion of the tray.

Abstract: A retractable module includes a pair of bases spaced apart and a tube positioned between the bases. The tube is configured to rotate about its center axis relative to the bases. The retractable module includes a latch including one or more prongs. The latch is configured to move between a release position and a fixed position. The retractable module includes a first spring configured to urge the tube to rotate in a first direction. The first spring includes a first end and a second end. The first end being fixed to one base of the bases, and the second end being fixed to the tube. The retractable module further includes a sheet wrapped around the tube. The sheet is configured to unwrap from around the tube as the tube rotates in the second direction and wrap around the tube as the tube rotates in the first direction.

Abstract: A cable-gland system provides a sealing function to openings in an electronic chassis that receive cables. The cable-gland system comprises a plurality of individual cable glands. Each of the plurality of individual cable glands includes an exterior end to be positioned adjacent an exterior of the chassis, and an interior end for positioning within the chassis. Each of the plurality of individual cable glands includes a through-hole extending between the exterior and interior ends for receiving one of the cables, and an outer surface between the exterior and interior ends. Each of the plurality of individual cable glands has a male projection on one side of the outer surface and a female recess on an opposing side of the outer surface. The cable glands are connectable to form the cable-gland system by mating the male projection on one cable gland with the female recess of an adjacent cable gland.

Abstract: A dust-proof telecommunication system and a method for assembling a dust-proof mechanism are disclosed. The system includes a chassis including an opening on a top side thereof; a PCB located within the chassis; a memory module removably installed on the PCB; and a cover removably coupled to the top side of the chassis. The opening is positioned and shaped such that the memory module is accessible via the opening for easy replacement. Abstract: Cable release devices and methods are disclosed. The device includes a frame defining an aperture. The frame is sized to fit around a connector on a printed circuit board (PCB) within a computer system with the connector extending into the aperture. The device further includes a post extending from the frame. The device further includes a lever connected to the post. The lever includes a first end positioned such that the first end aligns with a latch of a cable when the cable is connected to the connector and when the frame is around the connector such that actuation of the lever causes the lever to depress the latch. The actuation causes the release of the cable from being retained by the connector.

Abstract: A computing system includes a chassis and a cage. The chassis includes one or more locking hooks. The cage includes a handlebar, a bar-linkage assembly, and a crank coupled to both the handlebar and the bar-linkage assembly. Rotating the handlebar from an unlocked position to a locked position lowers the cage relative to the chassis until the cage is locked in the one or more locking hooks of the chassis.
