Abstract: A gear shift controller includes a detection circuit and a control unit. The detection circuit is configured to determine traveling state information about a traveling state of a human-powered vehicle. The control unit is configured to receive the traveling state information from the detection circuit to control a shift standby time of a transmission of the human-powered vehicle. The traveling state information includes information other than traveling speed information about a traveling speed of the human-powered vehicle and crank information about crank rotation information of the human-powered vehicle.

The data storage device has stored therein a shifting condition specified by at least one of a direction of change, an amount of change, and a rate of change that are information on a change in the first variable. The control unit includes a processor that is configured to control the shifting device based on a change in the first reference value and the shifting condition.

Abstract: A bicycle controller and a bicycle control system are provided that effectively supply power from one battery to a plurality of bicycle components. The bicycle controller includes an electronic control unit that controls power consumed by a plurality of bicycle components. The power is supplied from a common battery. The bicycle components include at least a first component and a second component. In a case where a charge amount of the battery is a first level, the electronic control unit reduces the power of the battery consumed by the first component. In a case where the charge amount of the battery is a second level that is lower than the first level, the electronic control unit reduces the power of the battery consumed by the second component.
