摘要: The reference current source circuit (10) is provided with a current source circuit (1), a trimming fuse (3), a switching circuit (2) which connects/disconnects the current source circuit (1) and/from the trimming fuse (3), a NAND circuit (4) which controls the operation of the switching circuit (2), and a pull-down resistor (R1) which connects one input terminal of the NAND circuit (4) to a GND terminal. The NAND circuit (4) controls the operation of the switching circuit (2) upon receipt of control signals (S1 and S2) and also in accordance with a signal of the one input terminal of the NAND circuit (4) so as to connect the current source circuit (1) to the trimming fuse (3). This arrangement makes it possible to measure characteristics of a semiconductor integrated circuit after fuse trimming. In addition, it is possible to maintain the state after fuse trimming without the supply of a signal from outside. Moreover, a reference current source circuit which does not consume extra consumption current is realized.

摘要: The present invention provides an angular velocity sensor and a method of fabrication thereof that facilitates the work of affixing a tuning-fork-type crystal element and adjusting the same, preventing waste caused by scrapping defective products and also encouraging miniaturization of components. The angular velocity sensor comprises: a tuning-fork-type crystal element which is provided with a drive electrode for exciting the vibration of the tuning fork and a sensor electrode for detecting an electrical charge that is generated in response to an angular velocity that is being detected; an independent pedestal to which a main surface of a tuning-fork base portion of the tuning-fork-type crystal element is previously affixed to form an integrated unit; a main package for surface mounting, in which the tuning-fork-type crystal element is hermetically sealed and which has a cavity with an inner base surface to which the pedestal integrated with the tuning-fork-type crystal element is affixed; and an IC having an oscillation circuit for driving the tuning-fork-type crystal element and a signal processing circuit for creating a signal in correspondence to the angular velocity corresponding to the electrical charge, and which is also disposed either inside or outside the package. The pedestal has a weight and/or shape that ensures that the center of gravity of the tuning-fork-type crystal element that is integrated therewith moves towards the tuning-fork base portion side, maintaining the horizontal alignment of the tuning-fork-type crystal element.

摘要: An oscillator circuit includes: a charge and discharge circuit for charging or discharging a capacitor; and a signal generating circuit for generating a signal in which (i) an interval time period indicative of a cycle on which cycle a receiving device performs a periodical intermittent operation and (ii) a watch time period indicative of a time period during which the receiving device performing the periodical intermittent operation is in an ON state are set based on a charge and discharge signal which varies according to charging and discharging of the charge and discharge circuit with respect to the capacitor. Further, the signal generating circuit sets in the signal (i) the interval time period based on a difference between first and second voltages and (ii) the watch time period based on a difference between third and fourth voltages. The third and fourth voltages fall in a range between the first and second voltages. With the interval time period and the watch time period thus set in the signal, the periodical intermittent operation of the receiving device is realized.
