Then, the greater the number of subjects, the more a setting of a condition that the subjects should satisfy is relaxed. As a result, in an image processing apparatus having a function that identifies a subject state, the usability of that function that identifies the subjects can be improved even in a case in which multiple subjects are present.

摘要： A wire harness includes a main line and branch lines. A protector has longitudinal ends with main line inlet and outlet ports and branch line ports between the ends. Branch line connectors are connected to the branch lines drawn out of the branch line ports. A main line connector is connected to the main line drawn out of the main line outlet port. The branch line connectors and the main line connector are connected to test connectors for a continuity test. Lengths of the branch lines and/or the main line are greater than required in the motor vehicle so that the main line and branch line connectors are connected to the test connectors. A wire additional length containing space is provided in the protector and communicates with the branch line ports and/or with the line outlet port for the lines having the additional lengths.

In a face recognition apparatus which discriminates similar face images using feature amounts extracted from local regions included in an image to be discriminated, a moving destination of a feature point extracted from the image to be discriminated, and the size of an image to be clipped at the moving destination are calculated based on a table which defines information required to designate a moving destination of each feature point, and information required to designate the size of an image to be clipped at the moving destination, and an image with the calculated size is clipped at the calculated moving destination as the local region.

摘要： A method for determining feature point locations in an image performs a first search in a predetermined first search area to search for locations of plural feature points in the image, corrects the locations of the plural feature points based on a geometric layout relationship among the plural feature points searched for, sets a second search area based on the corrected location of each of the feature points, and performs a second search in the second search area to search for the location of each of the feature points. Then, the method determines reliability of the location of each feature point searched for by the second search and selects one of the corrected location and the location searched for by the second search, as a location of the feature point.
