    摘要: An image editing apparatus includes an image input unit including an image pickup circuit which takes a picture of a subject to obtain an image of a subject. A face detection circuit detects an image of a face of the subject from the image obtained from the image input unit. A face expression detection circuit detects at least any one of direction and expression of the face of the subject, based on the image of the face detected by the face detection circuit. A pupil detection circuit detects images of pupils of the subject, based on the image of the face detected by the face detection circuit. A catch-light composition circuit composes different catch-lights on the images of the pupils detected by the pupil detection circuit, according to any one of the direction and expression of the face detected by the face expression detection circuit.

    摘要: A multilayer sheet made of a polyglycolic acid resin which is constructed by the fusion/lamination of a biodegradable resin layer on a base sheet of vegetable origin, characterized in that the biodegradable resin layer comprises one or more layers involving at least one polyglycolic acid resin layer and the layer fused with the base sheet is made of a biodegradable resin having a melt viscosity of 10 to 5.0×103 Pa·sec at a temperature of 240° C. and a shear speed of 122 sec−1 and a melting point of 235° C. or lower. Although the multilayer sheet has a lamination structure made of biodegradable materials with light environmental burden at disposal, it is excellent in oxygen-barrier properties and resistance to moisture transmission. Thus, it is appropriately usable as a food container material.

    摘要: An intake parameter estimating device is provided for estimating a tuning frequency of an internal combustion engine, which in turn can be used to estimate an intake air pressure of the internal combustion engine. The intake parameter estimating device basically has a fundamental frequency calculating section, an engine rotational speed detecting section and a tuning frequency calculating section. The fundamental frequency calculating section calculates a fundamental frequency of a pressure wave inside an air intake pipe based on a shape of the air intake pipe and speed of sound. The engine rotational speed detecting section detects an engine rotational speed. The tuning frequency calculating section calculates a tuning frequency of the pressure wave inside the air intake pipe based on the fundamental frequency and the engine rotational speed. The tuning frequency can then be used to estimate the intake air pressure of the internal combustion engine.
