    摘要: A flow shifting fuel cell with water separator. The water separator is used to control the amount of moisture that passes through the anode flowpath of one or more fuel cells in one or more fuel cell stacks. The water separator is made up of a housing to direct the flow of a moisture-bearing fluid as well as act as a collection and container for separated moisture. Fluid that is cyclically passing through the fuel cell stack as part of its flow shifting mode of operation oscillates back and forth across a separation chamber formed within the water separator, thereby allowing bidirectional control of the moisture content within the fluid. A drain is formed in the separation chamber to allow removal of condensed water.

    摘要: A mechano-electrical fuse (10) for a hand grenade (76), which has a spring element for the storage of mechanical energy and which has a drive device connected to the spring element for driving an electrical generator (28) through mechanical energy which is stored in the spring element. The electrical generator (28) is connected through an electronic delay circuit (56) with a detonator (46), with which a booster charge (48) is associated. A barrier (40) is provided between the detonator (46) and the booster charge (48). The spring element is formed by a tensioning spring (24) associated with the handle lever (18) of the hand grenade (76). The drive device has a taut cable line (68) which is fixed at one end (70) to the generator shaft (30) and wound with a number of turns (72) around the generator shaft (30). The second end (74) of the cable line (68) is mounted to the handle lever (18). Fixed to the generator shaft (30) is a flywheel mass (32) which is fixed releasably by a shearing element (92) in a fuse housing (16) of the mechano-electrical fuse (10).

    摘要: A vehicle tire having a profiled tread on the periphery of which are arranged pitches of at least two different lengths. In an axial direction, the tread is divided into several parts, with the successive pitch length in a given axial part forming a pitch sequence. To further reduce radial force fluctuations that induce vibrations by the transmission of noise into wheel suspension and body parts, the phase offset between the pitch sequences of the various tread parts is dimensioned such that the distance between the absolute extremes of the summation of weighted representations of a given function is minimal or at most 25% greater than this minimum. Each of the tread parts have associated therewith a function that is the successive plotting of successive pitch lengths of the pertaining tread part on the abscissa while marking off the respective pitch length, starting from the abscissa, onto the ordinate. From each of these functions a "representation" is determined that is what remains after elimination of all harmonic parts of greater than the x order, with "x" being an integer between 8 and 14. To determine this remainder, the function is first harmonically analyzed from the first to the x order, and from this information, including the phase information, the representation is generated by synthesis.

    摘要: In order to avoid a negative coupling between blade lead-lag movements andlade angle adjustment movements in a helicopter rotor, the angle (.beta.) between a control rod (5) for the blade angle adjustment and an effective damping plane (M) of the rotor is increased as compared to the respective angle in conventional rotors. This increase of the angle (.beta.) is accomplished by arranging a damping device (9) having the effective plane (M) for suppressing blade lead-lag movements in such a way on a blade angle control sleeve (4), that the effective plane (M) of the damping device (9) encloses an angle (.alpha.) with the lead-lag plane of the rotor.

    摘要: The present rotor blade is constructed as a so-called monocoque or shell type blade for use in large fans and windmill rotors. For this purpose the blade is made of fiber reinforced synthetic material with a differnt orientation of the fibers in different sections of the blade. The transition between the blade proper and the connecting end of the blade is formed by a blade root section which has a connecting end of circular or elliptical cross-section and a wing facing end corresponding in cross-section to the blade cross-section. The blade root section has three zones. In the main leading edge zone including the leading edge and adjacent sides of the blade root section the reinforcing fibers extend in parallel to one another. The fibers also extend unidirectionally in a rear zone forming the trailing edge of the blade root section and in this trailing edge zone the fibers also extend in parallel to one another but at an angle relative to the fibers in the leading edge zone. An intermediate zone is located between the leading and trailing edge zones. The fibers in the intermediate zone are arranged in a cross-over relationship relative to one another. The connecting end is formed only by unidirectionally extending fibers.
