摘要: A noise removing filter removes noise from an input image and an edge component extracting unit extracts edge components. The edge components are extracted by calculating a difference between the input image and a smoothed image, which is obtained by smoothing the input image in a smoothed image generating portion. An edge component comparing unit compares the extracted edge components with a threshold value and a sum calculating unit calculates the sum of the edge components greater than the threshold value. A control circuit determines, the enhancement degree of the edges based on the sum and averaged luminance of the input image calculated by an average luminance calculating unit. An enhancement degree adjustment unit adjusts the determined enhancement degree, and an edge component enhancement unit enhances the edge components based on this enhancement degree and adds it to the input image to perform edge enhancement processing.

摘要: An embodiment of a differential device of the present invention comprises a pair of side gears and a pair of pinion gears housed inside a differential case, with the pinion gears supported by a pinion shaft fixed to the differential case at axial end sections thereof so as to be capable of sliding freely thereabout. Lubricating oil channels are provided that pass through each of the end sections of the pinion shaft in the axial direction thereof. One end of each lubricating oil channel opens to the exterior of the differential case at a shaft-end corner section of the pinion shaft corresponding to an upstream side thereof in a direction of rotation of the differential case, and another end opens to a sliding surface of the pinion shaft with respect to one of the pinion gears. The differential device also comprises a mechanism for providing lubricating oil to the lubricating oil channels upon rotation of the differential case.

摘要: A navigation apparatus and arrival detection method detect a current location of a vehicle and searches for a route to a set destination. The apparatus and method provide guidance to the destination along the searched route and determine whether the destination is set within a car-free area. If it is determined that the destination is set within the car-free area, the apparatus and method expand an arrival detection area for the destination, and terminate the guidance to the destination when it is determined that the vehicle is within the expanded arrival detection area. Alternatively, even if the destination is not within a car-free area, after an engine of a vehicle is shut off and restarts, the navigation apparatus and method expand an arrival detection area for the destination, and terminate the guidance to the destination when the vehicle is within the expanded arrival detection area.

摘要: A control apparatus for a vehicle generator includes a switch, a regulator, a fault condition detector, and a PWM signal generator. The switch is selectively turned on and off so as to intermittently excite the generator. The regulator controls on/off operation of the switch so as to bring an output of the generator into agreement with a target value. The fault condition detector detects a fault condition of the generator. The PWM signal generator generates and outputs a PWM signal that has a duty determined as a function of a duty of the on/off operation of the switch and a frequency determined based on if the fault condition of the generator is detected by the fault condition detector. Consequently, the control apparatus can inform an external control apparatus of the duty of the on/off operation of the switch and the fault condition of the generator with the single PWM signal.

摘要: In an apparatus for generating and managing production processing structure in a production management system of a factory, the structure of factory made up of the names or other identifiers of process points obtained by subdividing the factory production line is hierarchically registered in the storage device of the management computer (server; S200), the terminal computers and devices used in production are registered as terminal devices (S202), and tasks (from among tasks generated in advance and stored in the disk of the management computer) for achieving the operation or processing to be implemented at the process points are selected for each process point and registered in the order of execution (S204), while linking the terminal devices with definition information that correlates them, once the terminal computers are activated, the registered tasks are executed by the management computer (server) based on the definition information thus registered, so that the production record information is accumulated, production instructions are distributed to the devices based on the accumulated production record information, such that the product is produced. With this, the number of man-hours and the costs of developing the production management system in building a factory can be significantly reduced, and the turnaround time can be shortened.
