    摘要: A steering apparatus steers a steerable road wheel in response to turning movement of a steering wheel with a variable steering angle ratio therebetween. The steering apparatus includes a first member operatively coupled to either one of the steerable road wheel and the steering wheel, and a second member operatively coupled to the other of the steerable road wheel and the steering wheel. The first member has a portion engaging the second member at a variable engaging position that is movable on a predetermined path. The steering angle ratio varies when the engaging position varies. When the steering angle ratio varies with the first and second members in their respective neutral positions, the first and second members remain completely still, and their neutral positions are kept in alignment with each other.

    摘要: A steering apparatus has a sector shaft rotatable in response to rotation of a steering wheel for steering road wheels through a pitman arm coupled to the sector shaft. A torque sensor for detecting a steering torque applied to the steering wheel is positioned closer to the steering wheel than the sector shaft in a path of the steering torque from the steering wheel to the sector shaft. An electric motor is operatively coupled to the sector shaft for applying an assistive force to the sector shaft. The electric motor is controlled by a controller based on an output signal from the torque sensor. A steering angle ratio varying mechanism is disposed between the sector shaft and the torque sensor for varying the ratio of an angle through which the road wheels are turned to an angle through which the steering wheel is turned.

    摘要: A plurality of viscoelastic layers in the form of rubber films are sandwiched between two constraint plates in the form of iron plates via polyamide adhesive films to form an alternatingly laminated structure. Materials of the respective elements are selected so that their degrees of elasticity satisfy the relationship: constraint plate>adhesive layer>viscoelastic layer. The thickness of each rubber film is limited below a predetermined value to maintain its thermal and pressure resistance, and the rubber films are laminated up to a total thickness required for obtain a desired vibration damping property. The vibration damper, thus obtained, is excellent in vibration property, thermal and pressure resistance, and resistance against oils and solvents, and effective even under a severe environment.

    摘要: In an optical head apparatus for recording or reproducing information onto or from an optical disc, a carriage is movable along a guide shaft extending in a direction parallel with the radial direction of the optical disc, and an armature is mounted on the carriage so that it can rotate about a pivotal axis perpendicular to the surface of the optical disc. An objective lens is fixed to the armature and positioned to traverse the tracks on the optical disc when the armature rotates. Guide yokes extend in parallel with the guide shaft. Tracking and carriage-servo coils are fixed to the armature and have a hollow through which the guide yokes loosely extend. A magnetic field means creates magnetic lines of force perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the guide yokes and parallel with the surface of the optical disc. A drive circuit supplies currents to the tracking and carriage-servo coils in such directions as to produce electromagnetic forces in parallel with each other thereby driving the armature along the guide yokes or in such directions as to produce electromagnetic forces in antiparallel with each other to rotate the armature about the pivotal axis.

The control signal generating circuit (70) generates the PWM signal in dependence, in a positive steering state in which the rotating direction of the steering wheel is coincident with the acting direction of the steering torque, on a first function (125, 126) and, in a steering wheel returning state in which the rotating direction of the steering wheel is not coincident with the acting direction of the steering torque, on a second function (127, 128), having the steering torque and the steering speed as parameters thereof.
