    Abstract: A terminal according to the present disclosure comprises an inputter for receiving input of a preview image converted from light reflected from surroundings of the terminal; a controller for identifying a type of an object included in the preview image and selecting two or more image filters using a recommended algorithm regarding an image filter to be applied to the preview image; and a display for displaying the preview image to which the selected two or more image filters are applied, wherein the controller may apply a first image filter of the two or more filters to a first image area of the preview image and apply a second image filter that is different from the first image filter to a second image area that is an area excluding the first image area of the preview image.

    Abstract: One embodiment relates to a video communication device and video communication method, capable of preventing a user who is making a video communication from being exposed to an inappropriate image from the other party and may provide a video communication method comprising establishing a video communication session with a first terminal, receiving an image stream from the first terminal through the video communication session, examining at least one first image selected from images included in the image stream, displaying a message suggesting reporting a user of the first terminal as an abusive user when a second image included in the at least one first image includes an abusive element, receiving input of confirmation in response to the displaying the message, and transmitting the reporting a user of the first terminal as an abusive user and the second image to a server in response to the received input of confirmation.

    Abstract: A method of providing real-time translation for video chat is provided. The method includes: continuously receiving first-language voice data and at least one second-language word from a first terminal; continuously displaying the at least one second-language word at the same time as reproduction of the voice data; acquiring a second-language translation of an ended sentence included in a voice recognition result for the voice data; and substituting at least one word, which corresponds to the ended sentence in the displayed at least one second-language word, with the acquired translation.
