The bottle filling device may be used to aid in the filling of a small fluid bottle container from an external liquid source. An inlet fitting that is expansible allowing a friction fit on a variety of spouts of varying sizes may be fitted to a spout. An outlet end of the bottle filling device has a funnel spout with an opening sized for dispensing fluids within the diameter of a mouth of a small water bottle. It is emphasized that this abstract is provided to comply with the rules requiring an abstract that will allow a search or other reader to quickly ascertain the subject matter of the technical disclosure. It is submitted with the understanding that it will not be used to interpret or limit the scope or meaning of the claims.
Abstract:
A system, method, and device for monitoring the dispensing of liquids, in particular, beverages dispensed at a bar or restaurant is disclosed. The device attaches to the exterior of a container and detects dispensing events by sensing tilt or motion of the container, which could include a bottle or a handle. The system includes an electronic sensor device, data receiver, personal computer, bottle opener/camera system, bar code scanner, point of sale, bar camera, network, Web server, and paging system. The method automatically detects and monitors dispensing events, including detecting the type and amount of liquid, reconciling dispensing events with register ring-ups, recording information, saving video specific to the dispensing event, and sending a page indicating anomalies.

Herein disclosed is an improved tap assembly including a tap, a delivery tube, and a rotatable cam for selectively compressing or not compressing a resilient flow control portion of the delivery tube in order to block or allow fluid flow therethrough. Also included is a decompression device for positively ensuring unrestricted flow through the resilient flow control portion when the cam is rotated to its opened position. The dispensed fluid may be pressurized by premixing with another fluid supplied by a manifold. The manifold is adapted to be connected to multiple pressurized sources of the another fluid. A diffuser is provided upstream of the flow control portion in order to effectively condition the dispensed fluid to desired characteristics such as reduced velocity, laminar flow, and appearance. The tap and manifold have matable piloting members for easily guiding these components together in correct relation for a snap assembly. The tap assembly may dispense, for example, pressurized liquid beverages such as beer, wine, soft drinks, and the like. The subject invention may also be used to dispense non-pressurized liquids such as intravenously-fed medicine, food or nutrients, and the like.

Abstract:
A postmix beverage dispenser having the appearance of a stainless steel brewed tea urn. A postmix dispensing valve is mounted inside the tea urn and is operated by a handle located on the front of the tea urn. A nozzle extender is inside the handle body and connects to the nozzle of the dispensing valve. The handle body and nozzle extender are easily manually removed without tools from outside the tea urn.
Abstract:
A CO.sub.2 gas generator for a utilization device is located in a housing and chemically generates CO.sub.2 from a chemical reaction between two reagents contained within a common container. The reagents are located in different chambers of the container with a CO.sub.2 accumulation region being included in one of the chambers. A reference pressure source of a predetermined pressure forces the two reagents into contact with each other when the pressure of gas in the CO.sub.2 accumulation region is less than the predetermined pressure whereupon CO.sub.2 is generated in one of the chambers. An output conduit in fluid communication with the CO.sub.2 accumulation region is provided to withdraw the generated gas from the generator. As the CO.sub.2 is withdrawn, the gas pressure drops permitting more mixing of the reagents. When the CO.sub.2 pressure becomes equal to or higher than the predetermined pressure applied by the reference pressure source, the reagents become separated again and gas generation ceases.

An attachment for a beverage faucet, the faucet comprised of a normally closed valve, a handle for opening the valve, and a delivery nozzle in fluid communication with the valve, which prevents the handle from opening the valve until a drinking glass is positioned beneath the faucet. The attachment consists of a bracket connected to the handle and means connected to the bracket, engaging the delivery nozzle to prevent the handle from being moved until a glass is placed below the faucet.

A cabinet housed dispenser for the simultaneous filling of a tray of drinking glasses. Multiple valve stems seat within discharge orifices with the stems urged upwardly to an open position by a cam or solenoid actuated plate. Spring means seats each valve stem downwardly to a closed position. Diversion means divert a trough carried water flow into multiple recessed areas of equal size for the collection therein of an equal volume of liquid which is subsequently discharged into each glass. A modified form of the dispenser includes a float actuated valve to regulate the flow of incoming fluid into a tank. An operator lever uniformly controls the flow from each tank orifice.

A dispensing valve has a skirt with an internal annular flange for receipt over a bead in the dome of a standard pressurized dispenser. The external axially extending surface of the skirt is tapered and the top of the skirt is capped by an annular external flange. A lock ring having an internal taper complementing that of the skirt is adapted to be received over the skirt''s taper and locked in place by the external flange. The lock ring prevents the skirt from expanding under the pressure of the dispenser while allowing the skirt to be expanded over the bead when attaching the valve to the dome.
