A universal electronic timepiece including a movable indicator for the twenty-four time-belts of the earth. A moving element includes control contacts which are movable into engagement with a plurality or bed of electric contacts in synchronism with the movable indicator of the time-belts. The contacts and the control members are spaced radially from one another and the control members are also spaced circumferentially from one another. The timepiece includes a display device which receives information which is a function of the time and of the condition of the control members and contacts such that it may display at least at request the time of the time-belt selected by the movable indicator of the time-belts.

A tabulator keyboard of simplified design may be fabricated from a single flexible circuit and a minimum of other mechanical structures. The flexible circuit combines in one piece an array of deformable upper contacts, an array of stationary lower contacts, as well as the required interconnections between the elements of these arrays and the electronics module. The flexible circuit may be made of a reasonable transparent dielectric film (e.g. polyamide). The flexible circuit is folded in use such that the lower stationary array has its conductive surface opposite the upper deformable array. Means are provided for making electrical contact between a selected element in said lower array with a selected element in said upper array.

Each individual switching unit includes a plurality of first electrode members and a plurality of second electrode members. An electronic watch with a time display correcting device for use in correcting a time display thereof. Winding means are provided for correcting the time display in advancing and delaying modes. Switches change over the switching modes to the time display advancing and delaying correction modes as desired. Circuitry is provided for producing or reducing a signal representative of a predetermined interval of time when the switching means is operated whereby the time display is advanced or delayed by the predetermined interval of time to effect the time display correction. This provides convenience for time correction with enhanced reliability of the watch.

In addition, a plurality of conductive paths are arranged at a surface of a support member facing the conductive member. Each of the conductive paths is adapted to be electrically connected to the conductive member through one of the conductive elements, when the conductive element is deflected into its over-center position.
