摘要： A locking pivot connector for a cot-chair back rest and a swivel joint for a sun shade supported by the back rest are disclosed. The locking pivot connector permits longitudinal placement of the back rest on the cot-chair with selective angular adjustment of the back rest on the cot-chair to allow its use as a cot, chair or chaise lounge. The sun shade swivel connection permits almost 360.degree. angular rotation of the sun shade by a spring-loaded ratchet assembly.

摘要： A folding chair structure includes a fixture and a support with a U-shaped back rod, a seat rod, a rear foot rod and a front foot rod. Wherein, the fixture has a recess and a hole with a pole extending outwardly therefrom. The pole has a cap at the far end. The support has a pair of side walls, one of which side walls has a sliding guide. The back rod is secured into the fixture by inserting one of the two ends into the recess of the fixture. One of the two ends of the seat rod is inserted into the hole of the fixture with the middle portions of two ends of a rear foot rod secured to the support in between the two side walls. And the pole of the fixture is secured in the sliding guide of said support in a sliding manner.

The serrated means are part of an articulating means comprising a pair of bowl-shaped housings encompassing the serrated means which rotate about stub shafts in the bowl-shaped housings. Anterior leg portions are connected at central locations to the front of the seat base and at upper ends to an arm rest means which, in turn, is connected to the back rest.

A compliant material covers portions of the frame members, forming a sling back and seat readily conforming to the user. A pair of pivot plates affixed at opposite sides of the back frame members includes laterally extending shoulders. The seat frame member is free to rotate in a first direction, bringing the two frame members into substantial nesting registry with one another for the non-use or stacking condition, while rotation in the opposite direction brings portions of the frame member into contact with the laterally extending supporting shoulders to hold the two frame members in the seat configuration during use.
