    摘要: A method for fixing a window member having a layer of electrically conductive material to a can of an infrared detector over an incident opening extending through a surface of the can is performed by adhering the window member to the can with a non-conductive adhesive applied between an end surface and a side circumferential surface of the window member and a surface of the casing while leaving a portion of the side circumferential surface, formed by the electrically conductive material layer, partially exposed, masking an opposing end surface of the window member and then covering the result with a thin film of electrically conductive material part of which extends between the exposed side circumferential surface of the electrically conductive material layer of the window member and the surface of the can. Finally, the mask and the portion of the thin film of electrically conductive material covering the mask are removed.

    摘要: Provided is a cooling system for a hot-rolled steel strip capable of increasing the cooling rate for rapidly cooling a rolled steel immediately after rolling and suitable for an apparatus for manufacturing a hot-rolled steel strip having a fine-grained structure. For this purpose, guides (16A, 16B) having guiding surfaces (16a, 16b) to guide a rolled steel (W) exiting work rolls (12A, 12B) in the conveyance direction are provided at exits of the work rolls in a final stand (Sn) of a finish rolling mill line in a manner that the guides can follow a change in the diameter of the work rolls, a number of injection holes (21A, 21B) are formed in the guides, and a number of rolled steel cooling nozzles (23A, 23B) are provided to spray a large amount of cooling water through the injection holes directly onto the rolled steel.

    摘要: A plasma display panel has a sealed part where peripheral portions of a front plate and a rear plate are sealed to each other with a sealing member. The sealed part includes bead which regulates any gap formed between the peripheral portions of the front plate and the rear plate. A dielectric layer is formed as far as location of the bead but an insulator layer is formed short of the location of the bead in the sealed part on the side of a direction where display electrodes extend.     摘要: A welding gun driving device is provided with an electric motor, a feed screw mechanism, and a pressure rod axially moved forward and backward via the feed screw mechanism by the electric motor. A rotor of the electric motor is formed into a hollow shape through which the pressure rod is insertable. The feed screw mechanism is provided with a screw shaft fixed to the rotor concentrically with the rotor, and a nut portion screwed to the screw shaft. The pressure rod is provided with the nut portion and a hollow rod portion extending toward the axial front from the nut portion. The rotor is provided, at its inner peripheral face, with a guide portion through which the pressure rod is inserted and supported so as to be relatively rotatable and axially slidable.
