    摘要： Location based wagering method sand systems. An online wagering service can be invoked via a mobile device. A determination can be then made regarding the location of the mobile device and a jurisdiction (e.g., state, county, city, etc.) associated with that location. The mobile device and hence a user can be authorized to access the online wagering service based on the location of the mobile device. Based on the location, it can also be determined if use of the online wagering service is allowed in the jurisdiction along with prescribed limitations of use in that jurisdiction. Wagering options are then presented via the mobile device, which conform to the laws and/or regulations of the jurisdiction.

    摘要： A thermoelectric piping apparatus and method for generating electricity as a byproduct of heat exchange. A thermoelectric coating can be applied on a tubular heat exchanger wall (e.g., a pipe) utilizing a thermoelectric coating process (e.g., spray-on coating) in order to capture waste heat from a heat source and generate an electrical energy. The thermoelectric coating can be a semiconductor material that can be applied to the tubular heat exchanger wall in a printed circuit format. The charge carriers with respect to the semiconductor material can be excited when heat flows through the thermoelectric coating which can be harvested to generate the electrical power. Wires can be attached to the thermoelectric coating to transmit the electrical energy generated as a byproduct of heat exchange to an electrical grid.

A person enjoying video content can select a scene element by specifying a screen coordinate while the video content plays. Frame specification data identifies the specific frame or scene being displayed when the coordinate is selected. The coordinate in combination with the frame specification data is sufficient to identify the scene element that the person has chosen. Information about the scene element can then be presented to the person. An annotation database can relate the scene elements to the frame specification data and coordinates.
