Abstract:
A method and device for analyzing positions are disclosed. In sensing information, at least one position is determined according to a first characteristic of a touch related sensing information. The sensing information also has a touch related sensing information with a second characteristic, which is opposite to the first characteristic. The touch related sensing information with the second characteristic is neglected or filtered. In addition, another method and device for analyzing positions are disclosed. An AC signal is provided through a pen, and a first characteristic of a touch related sensing information corresponding to a finger is opposite to the second characteristic of the touch related sensing information corresponding to the pen. The first characteristic and the second characteristic can be used to distinguish the touch of the finger from the touch of the pen or for palm rejection.
Abstract:
The method and device for capacitive position detection are disclosed. The touch related sensors within a sensing device with a plurality of sensors are detected first. Therefore at least a range of the mutual capacitance detection for detecting sensing information can be determined according to the touch related sensors. The sensing information within the range of the mutual capacitance detection can be used for generating a two-dimension sensing information.
Abstract:
The method and device for position detection are disclosed. Corresponding to a first touch related sensing information, a second touch related sensing information is acquired for determining at least one position. Each position is used separately for determining the position of a centroid according to the first touch related sensing information or the second touch related sensing information.
Abstract:
A touch panel device has a capacitive touch panel, a current sensing unit, a control unit and a switch. The control unit computes a coordinate of a press position based on current changes occurring at all corners of the touch panel, and provides an AC signal being output through multiple output terminals of the switch in turn. When the AC signal is applied to different users and then conducted to the touch panel, the control unit recognizes which user is pressing the touch panel. Therefore, the touch panel device has the capability of being operated my multiple users.
Abstract:
A control device for a capacitive touch panel has multiple voltage driving/current detecting circuits respectively connected to four corners of a top conductive layer of the touch panel. An auxiliary voltage driving/current detecting circuit is connected to a bottom conductive layer of the touch panel. When the touch panel is pressed, all voltage driving/current detecting circuits detect first current values at four corners of the top conductive layer. The auxiliary voltage driving/current detecting circuit also detects a second current value from the bottom conductive layer. The second current value is used to compensate all first current values so that the coordinate information of the position being pressed can be exactly calculated.
