Abstract:
A collapsible riding type exercise apparatus includes a front frame, a seat bar and a forwardly inclining frame pivotally mounted to a rear frame, a pull bar pivotally disposed on the forwardly inclining frame, and a positioning mechanism located at a pivot joint between the forwardly inclining frame and the rear frame. By means of this arrangement, the exercise apparatus may be quickly closed or opened to facilitate transportation and storage.
Abstract:
A multi-purpose exercising apparatus includes a mounting base securely provided with a horizontal seat cushion and a vertical backrest. A hollow top side of a backrest tubular body at a rear side of said backrest is connected to two adjusting mechanisms which are respectively connected to a support arm. A tensile arm is disposed below the seat cushion at a front edge thereof. A damping mechanism is disposed within the mounting base. The damping mechanism consists of three resilient ropes wound around revolving shafts, in which two of the ropes respectively pass around pulley sets to be pulled out from their corresponding support arms. The two ropes are then fixedly connected to two rings or a lever. The third rope is fixedly connected to the tensile arm. By means of pressing a button of the adjusting mechanism to adjust the angles of the support arms, the user may exercise the triceps or muscles of the arms, chest, legs or abdomen as desired.
Abstract:
An electric shielding metal shell having two symmetrical rectangular-shaped metal casings connected together to hold a receptacle and an electric wire covered within a braided earthed robe, so that the braided earthed robe with the electric wire extends out of said metal casings through a wire hole in the metal casings. The metal casings each have a respective unitary, open loop-like binding strip extending around the wire hole in either direction that are connected to each other to hold the braided earthed tube and the electric wire. The tail of either binding strip is inserted into a locating hole on the opposite binding strip and the hook of either binding strip is received in one of a series of retaining holes on the opposite binding strip.
Abstract:
An automatic magnetic controller is linked with a computer to process a formula for the relationship between the wattage and the expended calories. Then the desired numbered of calories will be accurately exhausted based on a relative arrangement between a magnetic member and a flywheel by means of a motor controller and a position controller. By this arrangement, the tension can be accurately calculated based on the rotations per minute of the flywheel. The tension is continuously arranged and adjusted to make the wattage remain at a constant value. Additionally, the number of calories remaining to be exhausted is displayed on the computer. In this manner, the exhausted calories can be accurately controlled. The magnetic controller controls the tension on the flywheel such that at high flywheel speeds, the tension is smaller, and on the contrary, the lower the flywheel speed, the higher the tension.
Abstract:
A mobile telephone automatically establishes communication with a system via a short-range wireless network. When communication is established, the mobile telephone user is automatically logged in to the system. The system can then apply personalized settings and/or provide access to personalized services based on the mobile telephone user's system account. Once communication between the mobile telephone and the system is established, the mobile telephone may be used as a remote control device to control operation of the system.
Abstract:
A method of laser forward transfer is disclosed. Photo energy is directed through a photon-transparent support and absorbed by an interlayer coated thereon. The energized interlayer causes the transfer of specific regions of a heterogeneous tissue sample coated thereon across a gap and onto a receiving substrate or into a receiving vessel.
