摘要： A method and apparatus is provided for transmitting information necessary for generation of a notification event for a mobile broadcast (BCAST) service in a wireless communication system. A request message is generated including notification event information and appropriate attributes indicating a change in the BCAST service, and is transmitted to a Notification Event Function (NTE) in a BCAST Service Application block, which generates a notification event, and transmits a response message indicating the generation result to the CC. The NTE transmits the notification event to a function in a BCAST Subscription Management block to generate a notification message indicating the notification event, to be transmitted to a terminal receiving the BCAST service.

摘要： A method and apparatus is provided for transmitting information necessary for the generation of a service guide for a mobile broadcast service in a broadcast system supporting the mobile broadcast service. A Content Creation (CC) block transmits a service guide request message including various sources necessary for the generation of a service guide to a Service Guide Application Source (SGAS). The SGAS transmits the service guide request message to a Service Guide Generation (SG-G) unit over a backend interface. The SG-G generates a service guide using various sources included in the service guide request message, and transmits a service guide generation completion message indicating completion of the generation of the service guide to the SGAS.

摘要： A method and apparatus for processing time windowing to transmit a signal in a Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) communication system based on Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA). A signal of a first interval included in a previous symbol prior to a current symbol is stored as a signal of a previous symbol interval. The current symbol includes a guard interval and an effective symbol interval subsequent to the guard interval. The current symbol is windowed by overlapping the stored signal of the first interval with a signal of a second interval included in the current symbol subsequent to the previous symbol. A windowed signal is transmitted.

摘要： Improved techniques for calculating decision parameters in an IMT-2000 system, the IMT-2000 system having a mini-slot selection unit for selecting a mini-slot position wherein a decision parameter is selected and a decision parameter selection unit for selecting one decision parameter from the calculated decision parameters, is disclosed. In an apparatus for calculating decision parameters, there is provided a correlation value calculation unit having a number of correlation value calculators, each of which calculates a correlation value between selected information that is selected at the mini-slot selection unit and one of capable input signals. In order to selectively operate the correlation value calculators, there is provided a correlation circuit control unit controlling the operation of each of the correlation value calculators by using each of the comparison between the received correlation value to a predetermined threshold value; and a ranking determination unit receiving and ranking the correlation values and selectively operating the correlation value calculators according to the rank of the correlation values. Accordingly, the power consumption of the correlation value calculators is reduced. And, the decision parameter is selected from the decision parameters previously selected during the divided monitoring section, thereby enabling high-speed cell search.
