摘要： A rigid air valve comprises a valve body and a valve stem. The valve body has a shoulder for abutting an inner cylindrical surface of the wheel. A first protruding portion extends radially outwardly from the shoulder into a valve hole. The first protruding portion extends to a tire-side surface of the wheel. A second protruding portion extends both radially inwardly and axially outwardly through a hole in a center plate of the wheel to thereby define a curved air passageway extending from a first opening in the first protruding portion to a second opening in the second protruding portion. The valve stem has external threads for engaging complementary internal threads inside the second protruding portion. The valve stem includes a valve for selectively admitting air into a tire when mounted on the wheel. This valve is robust and durable, reduces inflation time and eliminates leaky spuds and O-rings.

The steam iron includes a housing, a handle defined at an upper portion of the housing, a soleplate carried on a base portion of the housing, a heating assembly carried in the housing and in thermal communication with the soleplate, a spray outlet, a water reservoir defined in the housing, and a pump assembly. The pump assembly includes a first mechanical pump which is manually operable to pump water from the reservoir and deliver a shot of steam from the soleplate, and a second mechanical pump manually operable to pump water from the reservoir and deliver a spray of water from the spray outlet. The steam iron also includes an underhandle trigger for manually operating one of the first and second mechanical pumps, the underhandle trigger being located beneath the handle, and an upper trigger for manually operating the other of the first and second mechanical pumps, the upper trigger being located in an upper portion of the iron housing.

For one embodiment, a strobe device for a wheel lighting system includes a tachometer to determine a rotational frequency of a wheel, and a strobing element capable of operating in a first mode and a second mode. When operating in the first mode, the strobing frequency is related to the rotational frequency of the wheel. When operating in the second mode the strobing frequency is independent of the rotational frequency of the wheel. For one embodiment, the lighting elements, tachometer, and other components of the system are implemented completely within the rotating reference frame of the wheel. One embodiment of the invention provides a wheel illumination system having one or more strobing light source assemblies positioned within a rotating reference frame of the wheel to provide stroboscopic effects for the wheel's street side surfaces.

摘要： The present invention provides for proper air bleed without using air wicking fabric strips and/or the perforated polyethylene material or the like. Instead, an inside surface of a curing envelope is molded with a unique embossed pattern which is designed to channel to a vacuum valve, expeditiously, all the air being evacuated from between the outer surface of a tire and an inner surface of the envelope. Additionally, a valve base area is recessed so as to allow the air channels to open directly into the valve base area during evacuation. The envelope is also designed to accept various styles and designs of air valves. Another unique feature is the creation of a decorative pattern on the inside shoulder area of a tire by transfer of a surface feature from the envelope interior. This pattern provides a significant improvement in the appearance of the finished tire.
