When image or video data is received, frequency masking is performed to divide the image or video data into blocks of smooth regions and blocks of non-smooth regions and to obtain preliminary just-noticeable-difference. Edge detection is performed to divide the non-smooth region of the image or video data into texture blocks and edge blocks. Then blocks of regions that are substantially proximate to blocks of smooth regions of the image or video data are determined. The image or video data is then adjusted by applying different strength of watermark in association with the type of each block.

    摘要: A method for detecting a watermark signal in digital image data. The detecting method includes the steps of: computing a log-polar Fourier transform of the image data to obtain a log-polar Fourier spectrum; projecting the log-polar Fourier spectrum down to a lower dimensional space to obtain an extracted signal; comparing the extracted signal to a target watermark signal; and declaring the presence or absence of the target watermark signal in the image data based on the comparison. Also provided is a method for inserting a watermark signal in digital image data to obtain a watermarked image. The inserting method includes the steps of: computing a log-polar Fourier transform of the image data to obtain a log-polar Fourier spectrum; projecting the log-polar Fourier spectrum down to a lower dimensional space to obtain an extracted signal; modifying the extracted signal such that it is similar to a target watermark; performing a one-to-many mapping of the modified signal back to log-polar Fourier transform space to obtain a set of watermarked coefficients; and performing an inverse log-polar Fourier transform on the set of watermarked coefficients to obtain a watermarked image.

    摘要: An internal combustion engine includes a precombustion member which has a number of first ignition orifices defined therein. The precombustion member further has a precombustion chamber defined therein. The precombustion member is positioned relative to the head of the engine such that the precombustion chamber is in fluid communication with the engine's main combustion chamber via the first ignition orifices. The internal combustion engine further has a spark plug for igniting a gaseous fuel. The spark plug includes an encapsulating member which has a number of second ignition orifices defined therein. The encapsulating member defines a plug combustion chamber. The spark plug further includes a center electrode and a ground electrode which are both positioned within the plug combustion chamber. The encapsulating member is positioned relative to the precombustion member such that the plug combustion chamber is in fluid communication with the precombustion chamber via the second ignition orifices. The encapsulating member shelters the spark generated by the spark plug from turbulence within the precombustion chamber and the main combustion chamber. Such a configuration facilitates use of leaner gaseous fuel mixtures relative to fuel combustion assemblies which have heretofore been designed.

    摘要: Methods, apparatus and systems for wireless sleep monitoring are disclosed. In one embodiment, a described sleep monitoring system comprises: at least one sensor in a venue, wherein the at least one sensor comprises a wireless non-contact sensor having no physical contact with the user; a processor communicatively coupled to the at least one sensor; a memory communicatively coupled to the processor; and a set of instructions stored in the memory. The set of instructions, when executed by the processor, causes the processor to perform: obtaining, based on the at least one sensor, a plurality of time series of sensing features (TSSF) associated with a sleep motion of a user in the venue, and monitoring the sleep motion of the user jointly based on the plurality of TSSF. At least one TSSF of the plurality of TSSF is obtained by: communicating, based on the wireless non-contact sensor, a wireless signal in a wireless multipath channel of the venue, extracting a time series of channel information (TSCI) of the wireless multipath channel of the venue from the wireless signal, and obtaining the at least one TSSF based on the TSCI.
