摘要： A silver halide photographic material comprising a plurality of light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers, wherein (A) at least one of the layers contains a hydrazine nucleating agent represented by formula (II): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents an aliphatic group or an aromatic group; R.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, an amino group, a hydrazine group, a carbamoyl group, or an oxycarbonyl group; G.sub.1 represents a carbonyl group, a sulfonyl group, a sulfinyl group, a sulfoxy group, ##STR2## a thiocarbonyl group, or an iminomethylene group; and A.sub.3 and A.sub.4 each represents a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkylsulfonyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted arylsulfonyl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted acyl group, provided that at least one of A.sub.3 and A.sub.4 is a hydrogen atom; and (B) another layer contains a redox compound capable of releasing a development inhibitor when the redox compound is oxidized. The photographic material can be processed with a highly stable developing solution and provides an ultrahigh contrast image with broad dot gradation.

摘要： A silver halide photographic material is disclosed, comprising a support having provided thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer, at least one layer of the emulsion layer and other hydrophilic colloid layers containing at least one hydrazine-type nucleating agent having, in the vicinity of the hydrazine group, an anionic group or a nonionic group which forms an intramolecular hydrogen bond with a hydrogen atom of the hydrazine, and also containing at least one of the onium salt compounds represented by formulae (a), (b) and (c), or at least one of the amine compounds represented by formulae (d), (e), (f), (g), (h), (i) and (j). Also disclosed is a method for processing, after exposure, the silver halide photographic material described above with a developer containing a reductone-type developing agent and having a pH of 12 or less.

摘要： Disclosed is a silver halide photographic material and forming an image using the same, containing a hydrazine derivative in the emulsion layer(s) or in other hydrophilic colloid layer(s). At least one silver halide emulsion comprises silver halide grains containing (a) from 1.times.10.sup.-8 to 1.times.10.sup.-6 mol, per mol of silver, of an iridium compound, and (b) from 1.times.10.sup.-8 to 1.times.10.sup.-6 mol, per mol of silver, of a rhodium compound or from 1.times.10.sup.-9 to 1.times.10.sup.-5 mol, per mol of silver, of a rhenium compound, ruthenium compound or osmium compound, and having a silver chloride content of 50 mol % or more, the emulsion having been color-sensitized with a sensitizing dye of the following general formulae (1), (2) or (3): ##STR1## The material may be processed with a stable developer to give a hard image having few "black peppers".

摘要： Disclosed is a silver halide photographic material comprising a support having thereon a silver halide emulsion layer containing at least one nucleating agent represented by general formula (N-1) shown below. The silver halide photographic material contains at least one compound represented by general formula (Q-2) shown below in the above described silver halide emulsion layer and/or in a hydrophilic colloid layer adjacent thereto which does not contain a silver halide emulsion: ##STR1## The variable terms in the above formulas are defined in the specification. The silver halide photographic material is suitable for plate making and provides a high contrast image even when using a highly stable developing solution.

摘要： The present inventioin calls for a silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide photographic emulsion layer containing a dispersion of oleophilic fine particles containing at least one diffusion resistant oil-soluble coupler which forms a substantially nondiffusible dye upon coupling with an oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent and at least one water-immiscible coupler solvent having a melting point of not more than 100.degree. C. and a boiling point of not less than 140.degree. C., wherein said oil-soluble coupler is represented by formula (Cp-I), (Cp-II) or (Cp-III) the dispersion of oleophilic fine particles is a dispersion obtained by emulsifying or dispersing a mixture containing at least one of the above couplers, at least one of the above coupler solvents and at least one water-insoluble and organic solvent-soluble homopolymer or copolymer composed of at least one repeating unit which does not have an acid group in the main chain or side chain thereof.The silver halide color photographic material can provide dye images, the prevention from light fading and dark fading of which is well balanced, and which exhibit excellent image preservability when exposed to high temperature and high humidity as well as when exposed to light.
