The circuit further includes a load and an LC filter. The LC filter includes a coupled inductor pair that includes a first winding and a second winding magnetically coupled to each other. The first winding is coupled between the first input terminal and the load, and the second winding is coupled between the second input terminal and the load. A frequency of a first current flowing through the first winding is increased by the second pulsed voltage applied to the second winding.

    摘要: A system for asset tracking, comprising a universally accessible property tracking database. The database is based on an organization-property-individual model, and uses automatic close-match searching to match lost and found items. Any type of property can be reported found, registered, and reported lost, and recovered property can be returned to its owner. Embodiments of the system include on-line access that allows a user or organization to register an item, based upon the item's characteristics or an affixed label code. If the item is lost due to accident, theft, or damage, the system can be used to register the lost item and to generate reports and insurance claim information. A user who finds an item may register the item as a found item. When a match is found between a registered lost and registered found item the system may be used to return the item to the proper owner.

    摘要: A high-intensity LED is integrated into an MP3 player such as an iPod™ device to provide an extremely convenient flashlight functionality at the ready for a user, particularly useful in emergency situations. When an emergency or other need emerges suddenly and while the user is otherwise unable to obtain a conventional flashlight, use of an MP3 player flashlight device provides a useful source of light for both comfort and safety of the user. In another aspect of the invention, the MP3 player flashlight is a peripheral device connected to a digital port of the MP3 player. Alternatively, the flashlight is formed in such a shape as to fit into an external memory card slot of an MP3 player (e.g., in the shape of a SmartCard), drawing power and even control from the MP3 player through the connector otherwise intended for a memory card.

    摘要: Cast collimators for use in CT imaging systems are described, as are methods of making them. Such collimators may comprise pre-patient collimators, pre-patient filter/collimator assemblies, and/or post-patient collimators. The filters and/or collimators may be made of any suitable high-density, high atomic number material such as lead, a lead alloy, tantalum, tungsten, tungsten suspended in an epoxy matrix, tungsten suspended in a slurry, or the like. Embodiments of these collimators comprise specially-designed channels and vanes that allow them to be precision cast to the necessary degree of accuracy. These channels and vanes are preferably tapered. These collimators and filter/collimator assemblies help minimize the x-ray dose to the patient by minimizing the scattered radiation creation mechanism and by collimating out much of the scattered radiation that would otherwise be subjected to the patient. These collimators may be cast as either single piece structures, or multiple pieces that can be operatively connected together.
