There is provided a piezoelectric ceramic which is a composite oxide of at least lead, zirconium and titanium, wherein an oxide of manganese exists in a grain boundary layer in a density higher than that in a crystal grain of the piezoelectric ceramic and a glass phase exists in the grain boundary layer. It is manufactured by depositing a manganese compound and a glass material on the surface of a piezoelectric ceramic comprising a composite oxide of at least lead, zirconium and titanium and by performing thermal processing thereafter to diffuse the deposited substance in a grain boundary portion of the piezoelectric ceramic.

摘要： Light-transmissive ceramics are disclosed composed of a plurality of oxides each having a negative standard Gibbs energy of formation (.DELTA.Gf.sup.0) with an absolute value greater than 1581.9 KJ/mol. The light-transmissive ceramics are produced by subjecting the oxides to hot isostatic pressing at a high temperature under a high pressure after they have been subjected to primary sintering. The light-transmissive ceramics of Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 /La.sub.2 O.sub.3 are of a composite structure with particles of La.sub.2 O.sub.3 being present between particles of Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, rather than Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 and La.sub.2 O.sub.3 forming a solid solution. In the composite structure, the particles of La.sub.2 O.sub.3 have sizes that are 1/3 to 1/30 of the particles of Al.sub.2 O.sub.3. Maximum size particles of Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 have a longer axis of 30 .mu.m or less and a shorter axis of 20 .mu.m or less, and maximum size particles of La.sub.2 O.sub.3 or the like have a longer axis of 10 .mu.m or less and a shorter axis of 5 .mu.m or less. Before an a molded ceramics body is fully fired, it may be processed by a chelating agent, and perhaps also with hydrofluoric acid, to remove impurities therefrom for improving characteristics of the light-transmissive ceramics.

Manganese oxide and lead oxide are caused to coexist in high concentration in grain boundary parts of the piezoelectric ceramics containing composite oxides of at least lead, zirconium and titanium as compared to intra-crystal grains of the piezoelectric ceramics. It is manufactured by treating the piezoelectric ceramics by heat after adhering manganese and lead compounds on the surface thereof to diffuse the oxides in the grain boundary parts of the piezoelectric ceramics.

Therefore, even if a great number of songs are consecutively selected, a user will not feel as though the same images are being repeatedly shown.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for laminating two webs of corrugating medium to produce a composite corrugating medium for the manufacture of corrugated fiberboard. The method essentially consists of the steps of (a) applying a coat of a water-soluble adhesive onto one side of at least one web of a first and second corrugating medium; (b) conveying the first and second corrugating medium over the surface of a first heating cylinder such that the water-soluble adhesive is between the first and second corrugating medium to join them together into a loosely bound composite corrugating medium, wherein heat is applied to one surface of said composite corrugating medium through the first heating cylinder; and (c) passing the opposite surface of the composite corrugating medium to a second heating cylinder to subject the composite to a second heating step. The present invention contemplates an apparatus for carrying out this invention.
