    摘要: The inventor found that the lightwave of a semiconductor laser includes, in addition to the laser oscillation lightwave, a weak, continuous noise component having a different wavelength (here, referred to as natural emission lightwave). The inventor also found that in the wavelength division multiplexing communication optical system in which signal lightwaves having a plurality of wavelengths are combined to transmit over a single optical fiber so as to be separated at the other end to receive with a plurality of light-receiving devices, the natural emission lightwave causes crosstalk. A natural emission lightwave-blocking filter that reflects a natural emission lightwave is placed on the optical path between the semiconductor laser and the optical fiber. The natural emission lightwave-blocking filter blocks the natural emission lightwave, preventing the crosstalk.

    摘要: A laser welding method is provided, by which the suppression of porosity is obtained even when a laser beam is not spun. Laser beam 1 is irradiated onto object W to be welded, to weld it while the focus position of the beam is vibrated in the optical axis direction. The beam focus position can be vibrated in the optical axis direction by using curvature variable mirror 7 in which the curvature of the reflecting surface can be controlled. The curvature variable mirror 7 having a structure in which a reflecting plate is transformed by a piezoactuator, and which can be driven at a high speed, is preferable as it allows the increase of the frequency of the vibration in the optical axis direction.

    摘要: This invention aims to provide a gas generating composition of a gas generator for an air bag, which composition produces less combustion residues and is easily adsorbed. This composition comprises azide of alkali metal or alkaline earth metal, metallic silicide, and perchlorate or nitrate of alkali metal or alkaline earth metal. The combustion residues of the azide are changed to be glass silicate by the metallic silicide and caught by a filter of the gas generator, so that they do not pass through the filter of the gas generator nor make holes in the air bag unlike a conventional gas generator. And, the addition of silicon dioxide further improves the catching of the combustion residues of the azide.
