    摘要: A mounting apparatus for securing a power supply (10) includes a chassis (50), a retainer (30) and a spring (40). The power supply includes a plurality of locking holes (12) at a sidewall thereof, and two screws (14) threaded in the sidewall. The chassis includes a side panel (51) and a rear panel (53). The side panel has two slots (54), and a plurality of locking tabs (52) engaging in the locking holes. The retainer is slidably attached to the side panel, and connected to the side panel via the spring. The retainer includes two receiving portions (33), each having a slanted guiding surface (331). A locking portion (36) is formed near one end of the guiding surface. The screws slide along the slots and the guiding surface, then snappingly engage into the locking portions, thereby securing the power supply in the chassis.

When the circuit board together with the supporting member is mounted to the chassis, the first locating portion engages with the second locating portion. When the circuit board together with the supporting member is disassembled from the chassis, the first engaging portion exerts force on the second engaging portion.

In assembly, the bracket slides in the chassis from the opening. The fixing member bestrides the front panel at a bottom of the opening through the avoiding slot. The fixing portion engages with the retaining portion. Data storage devices being received in the bracket are thus secured in the chassis.

The second support member is secured between the vertical plate and the rear panel. Protrusions (421) and standoffs (446) are formed on the vertical plate and the second support member respectively, for cooperatively supporting the motherboard thereon. Two openings (428, 432) are defined in the horizontal and vertical plates respectively, for dissipation of heat from the motherboard.

A pair of resilient tabs (30) is formed in front portions of the top and bottom walls respectively, and each resilient tab forms an outer latching portion (34) at a free end thereof. The end wall defines a through hole (40) for extension of a cable (52) of the connector therethrough. After the connector is received in the connector securing device, the combined connector and connector securing device is plugged into aligned openings (64, 68) defined in an I/O interface (60). The latching portions engage in one of the openings of the I/O interface, thereby protecting the connector from accidental detachment from a complementary mating connector at the I/O interface.

The housing defines a pair of entrances (240, 25) at opposite sides thereof, for extension of connectors (40) therethrough. A pair of tabs (211, 231) defining a pair of holes (212, 232) extends forwardly from the end walls. Each connector is received in the housing, and mated with a corresponding connector of an associated electronic apparatus. The connector securing device is then attached to the electronic apparatus via the latches. A padlock (30) is then extended through the holes to lock the connector securing device.

    摘要: A computer enclosure exclusively mounts two differently sized power supplies. The computer enclosure includes a rear panel having a first opening for directly mounting a first power supply, a base panel having a fixing portion near the first opening, and a mounting bracket having a second opening for mounting a second power supply to the rear panel. The second power supply has a smaller dimension than the first power supply. The mounting bracket is assembled with the second power supply. An electrical socket and venting holes of the second power supply is exposed to an exterior of the computer enclosure through the second opening. The assembly of the mounting bracket and the second power supply is mounted to the rear panel and the base panel. The second opening aligns with the first opening for connecting the socket of the second power supply with an outside power source and for exposing the venting holes to the exterior of the enclosure.
