Abstract:
A cleaning implement is disclosed which is of the all-in-one type. It has a substrate structure that delivers impregnated cleaning liquid to the window being cleaned, a squeegee to drive used cleaning liquid off the window, and an absorbent to collect the used liquid. A single block of substrate structure can provide the applicator, scrubbing, and collecting functions, as well as filter and reprocess used cleaning liquid for further use. The substrate may be replaced separately from the squeegee, or may be replaced as a unit with the squeegee.
Abstract:
An atomizer having an auxiliary dispenser is provided. The atomizer is coupled to a container filled with a liquid. The auxiliary dispenser is designed according to a preferred dispensing manner of the liquid so that the liquid is more efficiently appropriately dispensed. The auxiliary dispenser includes a connecting member disposed on an atomizer body, and a dispensing unit having a coupling portion for coupling with the connecting member. The liquid is released from the connecting member. The dispensing unit receives and further dispenses the liquid.A manufacturing method of the atomizer is further provided. A second outlet is disposed on the atomizer body, and the connecting member is configured at the second outlet. A series of different dispensing units are manufactured according to the types and preferred dispensing manners of different liquids, and each dispensing unit includes a coupling portion for coupling to the connecting member.
Abstract:
A cleaning implement that provides multiple functions useful in cleaning windows and similar surfaces is disclosed. There is a support head mounting a squeegee blade and (optionally) a scrubber and/or touch-up pad. There is also a collector absorbent pad that is mounted to the support head adjacent the squeegee blade, a sprayer linked to the support head, and a container connectable to the sprayer. The implement can spray cleaning fluid on a window to be cleaned. The scrubber can then be applied, followed by the squeegee. Liquid being removed from the window using the squeegee is then collected in the absorbent pad, which is replaceable when saturated. Any remaining streaks on the surface being cleaned can then be removed by the touch-up pad. Replacement pads and replacement containers are also disclosed.
Abstract:
A surface treatment apparatus comprising an elongated application head including at least one application implement, a lockable swivel arm connected to a terminal end of the application head, a lockable universal positioning joint connected to the swivel arm, and an extendible wand connected to the universal positioning joint. The universal positioning joint is disposed between the swivel arm and the extendible wand and is configured to pivotally join the swivel arm and the extendible wand such that the application head is adjustably disposed at any one of a multiple of positions relative to the extendible wand.
Abstract:
A fluid-dispensing cleaning tool is described comprising a body defining a fluid reservoir within it and a pump assembly carried by the body in fluid communication with the fluid reservoir for dispensing fluid to a cleaning head attached to the body. The pump assembly is operable to control the dispensing of the fluid from the reservoir to the cleaning head. The cleaning head may be releasably attached to the tool.
Abstract:
A portable spray wash apparatus is self contained with a spray-wash head attached to an end of a wand having a grip handle at the other end. The grip handle is connected to one end of a flexible tube, the other end of the flexible tube being connected to a connection tap located at a lower portion of a fluid container. The apparatus achieves self-contained, light-weight portability for a convenient spray washing, regardless of the location, weather and/or other environmental constraints. It conserves water, and may be in-container mixed with a proper fluid mixture for environmentally friendly and socially responsible upkeep of vehicle appearance through all weather conditions.
Abstract:
A fluid pump assembly (268) for use in a cleaning apparatus (10) broadly comprises a fluid pump (22); a suction outlet tube (270) in direct fluid communication with a fluid reservoir (14); a fluid outlet tube (272) configured to be in direct fluid communication with the suction outlet tube (270) and connected to the fluid pump (22); a valve (274) cooperating with both the suction and fluid outlet tubes (270,272); and a control switch (58), wherein actuation of the control switch (58) simultaneously opens the valve (274) and activates the pump (22) to suction fluid from the fluid reservoir (14), through the suction outlet tube (270), and because the valve (274) is open, through the fluid outlet tube (272), and deactuation of the control switch (58) simultaneously closes the valve (274) and deactivates the pump (22), such that fluid is prevented from exiting the fluid outlet tube (272).
