The clamp mechanism cooperates with the weight carrier to clamp the weight carrier to the shaft with the axis of the weight supporting portion extending substantially perpendicular to a plane extending through the axis of the shaft and being offset laterally with respect to the axis of the golf club. The weight supporting portion supports a weight mass, with the weight mass extending in overlying relation with the head of the golf club. In another embodiment, the axis of the weight mass extends perpendicular to the axis of the golf club shaft. One or more extension weights can be coupled to the weight carrier to increase the weight mass of the weight training apparatus.

摘要： A bat weight and protector which is a removable soft-sided weight and protector for the attachment to a baseball or softball bat for the purpose of warming up a batter in the on-deck circle, prior to entering the batter's box and facing the pitcher. The bat weight and protector is comprised of a soft weighted cylindrical portion made of rubber or other suitable material, a retainer ring and webbing straps, which at one end are equally spaced around a retainer ring and stitched thereto, and at the opposite end are looped around the cylindrical portion and stitched thereto. A knob end of a bat is passed through the cylindrical portion of the bat weight and protector and further through the retainer ring until the tapered portion of the bat prevents further travel. In this position, the cylindrical portion of the bat weight and protector is over and about a barrel of the bat. This position maximizes the batter's swing resistance during warm-ups and protects the striking surface of the bat.

摘要： A swing weight apparatus includes a swing weight body and at least one insertable weight. A swing weight body includes a bottom layer, a middle layer, and a top layer. Each layer preferably has a perimeter which has a substantially curved portion and a substantially straight portion. The substantially curved portion of each layer are attached to each other. The bottom layer and the top layer are releasably joined to each other on the substantially straight portion with a removable fastener such as a zipper or a hook and loop fastener. Each insertable weight preferably includes a quantity of weighted material which is retained between two outside layers. The perimeter of each insertable weight is shaped to fit between the middle and top layers. The perimeters of the two weighted layers are attached to each other with the weighted material therein. Preferably, a hosel strap is attached to one end of the substantially straight portion. The hosel strap has a releasable fastener which allows thereof to be attached to itself.

摘要： A golf practice device in the form of an attachment to a golf club shaft. The attachment has preferably two weighted elements that are coupled together in such a manner that the spacing of the elements may be adjusted as desired, depending on the thickness of the shaft to which the device is to be attached. Thus, the device may be positioned at virtually any location or a tapered golf club shaft and also on golf club shafts of varying thicknesses. Once the desired spacing is selected, a frictional engagement device is used to secure the weighted elements at the desired spacing. The golf practice device is formed to be aerodynamically efficient, and preferably has substantially a smooth, rounded exterior surface. The locking device accordingly is formed such that it does not interfere with the aerodynamic efficiency of the device. Additionally, the locking device frictionally engages only the coupling that couples the weighted elements together without directly engaging the golf club shaft, and thus avoids damaging the surface of the shaft.

This chamber has an inlet and an outlet orifice. The outlet orifice is of a sufficient size so as to release a liquid during a swing of said shaft. The outlet orifice opens at the bottom of the club head. The inlet is positioned at the top of the club head. A liquid can be contained within the chamber, such as water or a colored chemical. The orifice should have a diameter of between 1/32 and 1/256 of an inch. The club head can be in the shape of an iron or a driver.
