    摘要: The invention relates to a selecting and screening device (15) for sealing elements or for hollow stoppers intended for a sealing station (4), the device being provided in the form of a chute consisting of two portions: a feed portion (17) and an outlet portion (18), and, between said two portions, a transit channel (20) forming an arc and comprising an ejection window (33), wherein said outlet portion (18) is to be connected to the sealing station (4), said channel (20) partially encloses a wheel (21) provided with notches (22) that match the size of said stoppers (2), and the wheel (21) is associated with pins (30), characterized in that the function of said pins (30) is to support the stoppers (2) in the respective notch (22) thereof as the former pass in front of said ejection window (33), if said stoppers are correctly oriented and not defective, and in that said outlet portion (18) is intended to convey said properly oriented and non-defective stoppers.

    摘要: An automatic test tube recapper is presented that is capable of recapping thousands of test tubes per day. Specially designed caps are poured into an upper triangular shaped hopper. The randomly oriented caps are transported by a pair of belts to an upper slide. Misaligned caps are rejected and fall back into the hopper, while properly aligned caps slide down the slide to a cap catch, one at a time. A hammer shaft then drives the cap into the top of the test tube until the cap is firmly seated. The hammer shaft reverses, which withdraws the shaft upwards. As the hammer shaft moves upwards, it triggers a pair of arms that allows another cap to fall into the cap catch. A conveyor also automatically moves the next uncapped test tube under the cap. The cycle then repeats itself.

    摘要: An improvement to finishing machines that are used to orient objects. The finishing machine includes a hopper for receiving loose objects, such as lids, and an endless belt for extracting the lids from the hopper. The belt moves vertically upwards with the lids and sorts the lids automatically, such that only correctly-oriented lids are retained. The machine is also equipped with a combined system for ejecting and conveying oriented lids, including: a plate which covers the upper part of the belt and which extends laterally beyond the belt, downstream thereof, in order to support the lids as they are ejected from the grooves in the belt; devices for ejecting the lids from the grooves and for subsequently conveying same beyond the grooves downstream, the ejection devices including jets of propellant fluid which pass through the plate by an arrangement of eyes; and a casing which is disposed on the plate and into which the propellant fluid is introduced and maintained under pressure by a turbine, the casing extending over the entire surface of the plate. In addition, the downstream part of the casing includes a routing conveyor with an adjustable height, which transports the oriented lids toward the use stations.

A closure station thereof includes a cap feeder for feeding the caps to the containers, and a sorting device for aligning and separating the caps and transferring them to the cap feeder. The cap feeder positions the caps individually on a respective container and closes the container with the cap. The cap feeder is arranged such that it can be moved back and forth, and is provided with a drive which is designed for moving the cap feeder.

    摘要: An improvement to finishing machines that are used to orient objects. The finishing machine includes a hopper for receiving loose objects, such as lids, and an endless belt for extracting the lids from the hopper.     摘要: Apparatus particularly adapted for handling spherical closures having a flat portion at its open end wherein the randomly arranged closures are first manipulated to cause them to assume an oriented open end down position on a rotary disk whereupon the closures are aligned and discharged from the disk into a delivery chute. Provision is also made for preventing entrance into the chute of those closures in the line which inadvertently assume an open end up position and for rejecting such closures to be returned to the disk.
